ZQ8 Blazers new ZQ8 Blazer

I've been looking for a 2dr that's painted this color for a little while and iroc2nv found this one for me. One thing pretty rare about it other than the color is that it is a 5 speed.

From looking underneath it I think it's a 2/3 (coils/blocks), but I haven't had a chance to really check it out. Engine:

I bought the eagle alloy 203's from that guy a long time ago. bout 2-3 years ago. He had a UGLY as **** spray painted blue bezel in it.

other than that it was always a nice truck..

looks very similar to my new 01 jimmy i just picked up. well, besides i have a hurst short throw, and light gray interior. lol.

Well I'm conflicted about the color, I've always been told it's called Space Blue Metallic but when I looked up the vin it says it's Maui Blue Metallic or something like that so I'm going to have to do a little more research on it.

Yeah this is the 3rd one I've ever seen in person that's painted this color.

I like the looks better. Looks cleaner imo. They don't have projectors, it's the same ones on my white one.

So the 2000 brochure states the only two blues are indigo and space but the Comprehensive Vin Decoder states

I'm waiting to get the VTR form back from the owner (long story) so I can get the Blazer titled in Ky before I start doing anything to it. Should be in the mail tomorrow or the next day.

In that year, paint code 23U is space blue. The vin decoder is wrong on the name is all.

VTR form just came in! I thought the mail man had already ran so I clay bar waxed the Blazer (looks good) and now I'm wore out so I doubt I'll be doing anything today other than getting temporary tags.

Also the tilt steering column and cruise control box came in today. I wonder if I could swap multifunction switches between Blazers without it screwing with the flashers or something on my 4dr? Reason being is that I just replaced the one in the 4dr not too long ago.

The tail lights look much better on this color than on white.

Well I opened it up and it has the multifunction switch with it! I can't believe s10warehouse sold a tilt column, cruise box, ignition w/ key, and multifunction switch for $100 shipped.

I threw on a billet grill and my Brazilian taillights last night and shot some pics earlier. The tail lights look much better on this color than on white.
