almost everything will be painted! i use a jig saw with a metal blade cut off wheels take to long. use a flap disk on an angle grinder to shave it all down.

everything looks nasty man..how long to paint ur dash..i wish i could do that to mine i gut an 01 and the top looks to be plastic covered in foam..but i think im tweeding mine..im loving the diamond plate..that will look sick when its all finished

the dash is the same its plastic with a foam underlay. all i did was and it down shoot it with primer and paint it didnt take very long a few hours will do it i cheated and used a da on all the large areas. im working on truefire right now trying to get it down its very hard to get the hang of! the dash will have green truefire wrapped from the windshield all the way threw with a few skulls buried in it to match the shifter

thats ****ing sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!..i want to aint my truck black with blue true flames on it but a guy in manchester told me 8gs just for the repainting of onyx black i was like wtf..but he'll do a hole harley with true flames for 2000..i dont get it

lincoln weld pak 3400 50 hours and its radar blue not purple its the stock color of the truck it goes from a bright blue to a dark purple.

so r u sayin most of you dash is just the plastic/vinal stock layerin on top of the foam..did you use any flex additive..wont it crack it it has pressure applied to it..i know my 01 dash i can push down on it sum

no flex agent yes it could crack and if it does i will pull it back out of the truck and fiberglass it but i have been moving the dash around with no problrms and it hasnt cracked yet

i was gonna glass mine but its so much extra work! there are a few differnt trucks on here some glass some are just sand and shoot either way works. flex agent has a limited use a very short span of only a day i think then it does nothing for you. as long as you dont let people finger **** your dash it should be good. well i hope so anyway

lol..ya i heard that about the flex stuff to..i want to add it when i paint my xtreme facial..again..but alot of people say it looses it contence..i might try doing my dash like yours..let me know if anything happens to it..its either that or im tweeding it and i dont want to go threw that either..so you just sanded it down then shot it with primer then paint..it does look damn good

it will be a while befor emy dash even goes back into the truck! im practicing truefire so i can finish the dash and im not doin so well.

looks like you need to use colors very similar just slight shade changes but i have no clue how to do it..i want you to throw some on my hood when you get it down pat

um as far as the true fire its all kandy's thats what changes the shades! the floor is just a hole when your done cutting the only thing you have to watch out for is next to the kick panel about 6 inches out is the body mount it has a double layer i will check to see if i have any pics but i dunno

wow man you always do good ****in work. when it comes time for you to paint it again, you goin to two tone it or anything crazy like that?

maybe we will see it will get a 2 tone at some point with the green and purple with some silver to break it up! but that may be a while i think im goin straight purple again just to give it a finished look for the shows this year then i will 2 tone it when im done with the body drop next year

okay heres my next update i sectioned down the ends of a 98+ bumper and welded them to my 95 bumper to get rid of those gay plastic end caps
