But, i like the way you used the sheet metal braces as opposed to... say 1x1 like most people use. Properly bent sheet is just as strong or stronger then thin guage tubing and can be used in your advantage. I'm hopefully picking up an old break from my work that we never use soon... then i get to play with it on trucks instead of just customer jobs.
Nice. A break will really open up all kinds of possibilities! What size break is it, 8 foot?

yes, i believe its 8'. We have 2 10' hand breaks and a 12' press break, so no one ever uses the 8' for anything more then leaning completed jobs on it.

I kept the arm stock length, the ball joints attach from opposite sides of the lower spindle mount but the s10 arm is shorter so the pivot is real close to the same as stock. I did step the ball joint up 2" to get more travel. Hope this helps

Re: the chop is done!

yes, I used stock spindles, As it turns out, I only needed 1" of drop cuz the stock S-10 spindle dropped the wheel 1" Right out the gate

Re: the chop is done!

well I got to fenders a while back but the pass side had dents from a door swinging into it so I decided to work on that today...

I figured since I was already workin on it I would make it match the door better. I made a pattern of the door, then I cut out the inner fender brace and tacked the pattern to the fender, worked my dents and re welded the inner brace back to the fender.
