Make sure you pick up the September Issue of Super Rod Magazine.

Yep, The mighty Mini has struck again.

I took a look at the Super Rod magazine last night at Books-a-Million and it was nice to see your update article in there Marty. I also noticed that the article about installing an LS1 wiring harness was written about installing a Current Performance Wiring harness. It's so cool to see articles connected to the forum in major magazines like that. I can't wait until Syborg is done. I hope they do it justice in the magazines when they do a full-out article.

The mags are gonna have a high expectation to fulfill with that said man...we have all watched this thing start as a standard Sonoma GT and evolve into Syborg...

Re: Syborg Twin Turbo

Good Morning All,

Just a quick little update.

This post is a little out of order -- sorry about that.

Prior to putting the chassis together it was important that we get the right parts for the chassis.

Quick call to Art Morrison and we ordered up some 5/8” x ¾” Stainless Poly Rod End.

Okay getting ready to put the motor in the chassis.
However Kenny had a few complaints.

Seems the Red Poly Motor Mounts were unacceptable and a Quick call to Summit Racing solved that problem.

Time to order new Black Poly Motor Mounts

Let's not forget the Tranny Mount.

What the heck lets order some more ARP Stainless Steel Bolts
from Totally Stainless.

Finally the motor is in the chassis

Re: Syborg Twin Turbo

Just a quick question, what made you powdercoat the chassis in black instead of paint it body color like the engine and trans?

Not a big fan of color matched chassis.

Plus I plan to drive it and black is much easier to touch up

I am going to have a fire sale once everything is back in my shop.

Tons of left over parts just used for mock up.

Hi Jason.

Your welcome.

It's a really nice kit, one of the first things i bought for the truck back in the day. You will be happy.

Thanks - I am getting pretty excited - can't wait to actually sit in the truck and start the engine and put it in drive.

Re: Syborg Twin Turbo

Good Morning All,

The Guys are busy working on the truck
They brushed all of the stainless steel exhaust tubing we got from
the Rod Builder Kit from "Stainless Works".

One of my new Favorite Pictures

That really nice Polished Billet Specialties Steering Column has now been painted black.
You can also see that the pedals are hung as well as the Vintage Air, MSD & Big Stuff 3

Hard to tell from the Picture but the shifter is in with the new Shifter Cable from
George Blake @ Prime Gears

Plenty more to come in the next couple weeks with Sema getting closer.
