For the door panels I would change up the handle that you shut the door with. It will require some fiberglassing. I picked up some armrests at RodDoors Custom Car Interior Systems & Componets

as for door panels, what about your factory door panels or have they gone the way of the dodo bird? If not use your factory door panels and have them recovered and stitched with a design in them. What kind of design are you looking for? Im not real good with interiors, but i try lol

Re: Syborg Twin Turbo

Good Evening All,

What a weekend. Stopped by Rad Rides on Saturday to see the progress on the car there building
to compete for the Riddler Award. Wow is all I can say I promise I will post pics next week.

Okay back to the update.
Mocked up the interior to see what it would look like.
My Goal is to make it look like a Factory Prototype

The Factory Seats have been recovered in Leather & Suede.

Billet Door Sills - I Also have Billet Sill Plates to protect the paint.
Working on an Idea for the Side Bar.

Quick Shot of the Dash.
The Dash will be leaving tomorrow morning to get body worked and painted.

Ordered some parts from Lokar to compliment the Interior

Door Handles - I was going to go black but i need to get an accent color in the door panel

Cable releases for the door latch.

Inside door handle pulls.

Billet "Black" Gas Pedal. It compliments the Wilwood brake pedal nicely.

I want to thank Eric at Lokar for helping me out.

That's all - Have a great weekend.

My goal is to keep the same styling cue as the factory one. I hope to have time to work on them this weekend

that has got to be on of the best lines i've read in a long time.

Been a hectic week at work orders a bunch more parts. It's shocking but i still need more parts. Starting doing the ARP nuts, bolts and washer order for the chassis and i'm over a grand. my god when will it end.

In the meantime i started putting the truck back together again ( about the 20th time ) to head over for paint and body work. It's heading over to Rad Rides by Troy.(( Rides Rides by Troy: Custom Cars, Hot Rod Design and More )) My goal is to get it all back together by Wednesday and haul it down there on Saturday. I guess i am going to give up sleep again.

Once it's at Troy's a i have a huge list of small projects that should consume all of my time.

Re: Syborg Twin Turbo

Good Morning All,

The truck is going back together yet again and waiting to get loaded in the trailer to head over to the body shop.
Put the Cab back on Saturday Afternoon in between errands and go-cart racing.

Working on the new Dash Layout.
Looks like I may change the Gauge color and go silver background instead.

Tom was kind enough to send me all my material to match my seats.

That is what's left of 2 really big Cow's

The Guy's over at Body Language smoothed the Dash and put a coat of paint on it to protect it.
bodylanguageinc@sbcglobal.net

Ordered the new headliner from LMC Truck.
The new headliners has an ABS backing instead of the flimsy foam backing.

More to come in the next couple weeks

Wow. That is an expensive change. How many gauges total do you have? Guess its nothing compared to the cost of the rest of the truck though..... Thanks for the update. Keep them coming.

Re: Syborg Twin Turbo

Good Morning All,

Ron Wilson & I have been toying around with the Idea of a custom set of Skuff plates for hood pins.
Ron drew up the design with some direction from me.

Then Mike Renz Introduced me to the Guy's at Fabritek
Right out of the Gate these guy's said they would love to work with us.
Fabritek Co. Inc. Your one stop machine and fabrication shop.

Here is the design we came up with -- tell me what you think.

Close up of the Skuff plate

Good thing my other GT is still in my warehouse

With the Pin and lock in place

Please tell me what you think.

love it when someone takes machining into their own hands and creates something unique
