Re: Syborg Twin Turbo

Love the truck but I'm not really digging the hood.

Hope Goodmark gave you more than just a hood for them getting in on this awesome ride.

just wait till you see the underside of the hood.

After talking with Bob Thrash ( Rad Rides ) he's convinced us not to touch the top of the hood because he has some graphic idea's for the top of the hood and he needs this style hood to make it happen.

Under the cab, Underside of the bed and wheel tubs, and about 75% of the inside of the bed.

I had the chance to swing by the shop last weekend to see travis' dually and just so happen to look at this truck a bit. Looked badass apart, i just wish i could have seen it with the suspension under it.

This project was actually started about 5 years ago. He just came to s10forum to post a duplicate of his project from other forums over here because he's such a nice guy.

Okay, here is the whole story and nothing but the story.

Greg Walsh looked at the truck form me in Feb of 01, I finally purchased it on July of 01. Then I actually started working on it at my shop end of Feb 02.

I worked on it pretty hard for a solid year. Did the first chassis with Dave at Comp Fab and wrapped it up Feb 03.

Then we had a little girl so the truck was pretty much put on hold till May 05, 05 when we pretty much started with the current build that you see here today.

The goal was to have the truck completed in 3 years so we are pretty close to the actually meeting that goal. I am sure if i had more money and time it could have been done quicker.

I didnt mean for this to doubt your work, or say that you are taking too long, I just thought it was funny that it took almost exactly a year to get it from almost ready for paint to actually getting painted. Most projects go like that. The work on this truck is phenomenal, and I cant wait to see some color on it. Keep it up

not to worry i didn't take any offence. Here is another really cool 1 year thing

05-05-05 Dave at Comp Fab & I started ripping the truck apart
05-05-07 Kenny & Travis Start working on the truck

Now if we can get the truck to Tracy ( Recovery Room Interiors ) on 05-05-08 that would be really cool.

ps - it really takes a lot to offend me - i mean a lot.

Yeah that would be, because Cinco De Mayo is my wedding anniversary. Then I'll have three reasons to tip a beer on 5-5-08! lol

Re: Syborg Twin Turbo

Good Evening all,

Yep it's late and I owe everyone and Update.
I'm almost finished with the basement so soon I'll be back to regular updates.

Guy at Rockford Racecraft took care of having the Intake Hat extended all the way back.

The goal is to hide the plumbing from view without making an engine cover.

Man is the polisher going to have fun with this. Should look really nice once it's done.

I almost forgot - I really should post some painted truck pictures
