Syborg Twin Turbo

Good Morning All,

I would like to re-introduce myself my name is Marty. I have been working on this project for the last couple years. This truck was supposed to be a daily driver. I purchased a Sonoma GT so I could build it to drive instead of the Marlboro. However with all projects they sometime start with good intentions and then end up on a completely different path. Since begining this project I have sold the Marlboro to help fund this beast.

Currently the truck is almost ready for paint and will be heading over to Rad Rides by Troy for final paint and bodywork.. The chassis has been set at 4.75 in the rear and 4.25 in the front at it's lowest point for driving. . Front Suspension is by Air Ride and the rear suspension was hand fabricated by Dave at Competition Fabrication ( CompFab Home ) .

The first rendering was done by Bob Thrash at Rad Rides by Troy and the second rendering was done by Carter Hickman.

Build Highlights
* Chevy V6 Bowtie Block 4 Bolt Nodular Caps

What's the predicted power range? Other words what are you planning the motor will produce?

800hp on pump gas is the goal. However we are going to street tune it for 600hp since I plan to drive it on the Power Tour

My goal is to have it finished by Sema this year

02-27-07 Update - Dedicated to Dave "Myclone"

Good Evening All,

This has been a very long week and a very sad Week.
SyTy/SGT - Forums - Myclone is gone
We lost a great guy in the SyTy Community and he will be Dearly missed.

One of his last post over on syty.net was in my build thread. Dave asked if I would adopt him.
The answer is yes but I think you a little to old to be my son and no you can't drive my truck.
So you are going to have to sit in the passenger seat.

The seat is yours Dave - gonna miss you big guy.

Okay I will try to go to back to the updates.

The New Head Gaskets arrived

Getting ready to rip the truck apart again.

Don't try this at home alone -- not a good idea.
Really I am going to buy a lift for my garage.

Wait I have an idea anyone want to sponsor me.

The Bed off and on it's body work stand.
Looks like I am going to need to contact Caleb and ask him if he set it up for 7 foot tall body men.

Chassis sitting naked.
Actually I started doing a hardware inventory and it's time to get some new nut's and bolts.

Decided to take a few Pics of the chassis while it was apart again.

Just another angle of the rear back half

Tom stopped by on Sunday to help me put the motor back in the truck.
Yep -- missing more bolts time to call Billet Specialties.

Fuel cell located back between the rails.
Yep missing some more bolts.

This has been the hardest post that I have ever done.
Farwell Dave we are all going to miss you.

Yeah really sorry to hear about your buddy. I still love a 1st Gen over a 2nd gen anyday. I have one of each. Just cant wait to see this thing done. Oh and dont worry, im sure youll find the bolts and nuts months after its been completed. I always put them somewhere so they wont get lost and of course i forget where that place is lol

it's easier to get around on a couple BB then it would be with another women. Less chance of me getting in serious trouble with the wife.

What type of help are you needing? Fiberglassing? Seat Covers?

If you need help with fiberglassing NickZigaitis on here is the person to ask.

I do a little sewing on the side so if you have questions about material or anything about seats and seat covers I can answer your questions.

Actually i am looking for Idea's for the Door Panels.

I want something that looks stock. But it needs some sort of design in the panel in it.
