lmao come on man i'd kill for a 4.3 5 speed zq8 space blue 98+ ext cab... you have the s10 world by the balls dude!!

my truck is extremely slow, barely gets out of it's own way, and is quiet and gay.

if it was a 4.3 5spd zq8 i'd friggen rip this thing up on ramps and shit with some loud pipes and my truck would sound and act how it looks haha i wish i started with your truck man it's perfect.

You're not suppose to sand/scuff the surface of whatever you are painting with plastidip. It's like a sticker. It will only come off if you peel it off. The gloss one (if it works how I think it would) will protect the polished surface of your lip.

Or you could just clean and polish the rims once in a while, there not exactly cheap so don't go spray painting them lol. The trucks nice and worth cleaning up in my opinion

Man,I need to lower a truck and put some rims on it! your 5 pages in already!!

I've gone through multiple trucks, snatched engines, pulled a dash to the naked firewall, converted auto to manual, converted manual options to fully loaded....

I'm barely scraping 4,lol. I must be doing it wrong?

Truck looks good! keep it up!!

30+ hwy mpg is cool, dont get me wrong, but what does a 5 spd get? is it worth spending the money and time on a t56 to get a few more $ savings at the pump? lol

I get 20 combined. Out on the highway I've squeezed 24-25 MPG out of it

I get 20 combined with my 4.3/Auto right now. I've heard the 30 with the t56 is combined mileage. More like 33-35 full highway I'd have to imagine

Re: >>SLAB: Slow Low And Bangin

i am going to fill up today and let you guys know what the MIGHTY 99 TUTU GETS FO MILEAGE!!!

my 97 tutu 5spd always got 25-30 mpg, but that truck had the a/c deleted, header and full exhaust, e fan, hot air chrome intake...

my 96 4.3 auto that i recently totaled had an exhaust and never got better than 19 mpg lol

this truck has spent a lot of time with the a/c on this summer so we'll see what i get for numbers. both trucks had the same lund genesis tonneau cover. worth mentioning i guess even though it's irrelevant according to myth busters

calculated the mileage for the first time with this vehicle, mixed driving, with a/c blasting got 26 mpg, not bad.

Re: >>SLAB: Slow Low And Bangin

Hell yeah!!! When I drove my tutu back from Philly I got 29.7 mpg so just shy of 30 and I did 70-75 mph the whole way. Love this lil combo! it's still worth putting a Lsx 6spd in it though.... Even though I don't want another project maybe I'll start collecting parts?..... Wooo!

You should do the same

No clear coat lips. That ruins it. Keep polish on hand. Wash them first so no little tiny pieces of matter scratch them. I need to get you a bottle of clean aluminum acid to clean em with before polish.

dclark, thanks man! i already have a sub and amp, and about a 3/4ths of a sheet of 1/2 in mdf laying around, so installing my sub will be next and not much after that.

01bluezq8 i have no idea how large my sig pic is, potentially larger than allowed probably but who cares it's close.

soda can pics because that's what cool kids do.

barely fits under the valance, had to hold it up to put it underneath

and obviously the frame has no chance at clearing the can

speed bump at work out world was a casualty, grooved it with my frame the whole length lol
