Interesting. I was curious how the coilovers worked with the factory spring pocket. Looks like a nice setup.

Exactly. Though I think you were doing it to prove a point that you can be that low on spindles and coils...

Either way. Do work man!

I put the 2 right wheels on, still haven't painted my replacement center. I just wanted to confirm my math was correct on the fitment, and it was, they got exactly how I want them to.

Also, the 98+ blazer dual piston brake set up is soooo nice!

I agree, but it may be the pewter lower section against the silver of the wheel. Once the paint is done, I'm sure minds will change.

Re: >>SLAB: Slow Low And Bangin

I agree, I think the wheel color not matching the two tone clashes and looks awful, I've been saying that since 2012 when I had the gray centered boss 338s. I don't mind the two tone scheme, I just dislike the pewter color and have always wished it was silver.

Hands down tho, in my opinion my truck looked it's best when it was vinyl wrapped all one color with the black grille, mirrors, valance etc so that's going to be the new look as well. The truck will be all 1 color with the exception of the stock textured black valance and handles... and I'm doing the grille and mirrors gloss black.

S10 forum rules would be to color match the grille, mirrors, handles, put the boss 338s back on etc... But I never will. My truck will always be a reflection of my automotive tastes and no one else's. I'm not shaving the antenna, not shaving anything, my truck will never have a roll pan... Because I don't want those things.

The anticipation is killing me to see my truck all one color, 1 inch lower, big brakes, on all 4 bbs wheels. I'm currently hoping my first show is may 4th, staggered in CT, that's the new deadline.

Re: >>SLAB: Slow Low And Bangin

The truck looks too good as two tone! I don't see any issue with the silver/pewter. It will be sad to see another perfect two tone lost.

I'm the same, I actually like the two tone, plan on making mine two tone eventually, but that's another story. Like I said, I think it's the pewter throwing everything off for me.

I like color matched, to an extent, but sometimes it gets to be too much. Keep the plans you have for the black, I think it will set things off nicely. If your vehicle can't be a reflection of you, then why do the work?

As for the anticipation for it all, GET ON IT SON. The anticipation is getting to us all.
