Re: Ratted Dime

Looking great man, if I don't find a 3.4 soon you might not be the only one with a v8, all I need is a 4x4 tranny and v8 tbi crap. Looks like that stuff is gonna be easier and to put in than a direct swap motor on my blazer.

Yeah I kinda miss my old 383 dime. Miss my 327 luv more. I'm not sure I wanna go with a v8 in the blazer cause that means I gotta upgrade the front and rear axle with a SAS swap or keep my foot out of it. I been wanting a sas and I highly doubt I can keep my foot out of it.

Re: Ratted Dime

well i"m for the most part done with the int. of my dime.
I got the seats installed and the rubber bed liner sprayed on the floor board.
Shifter completely installed and working. the only thing stopping me from driving is buying a new fuel pump.
Once it's completely road certified I'm going to start working on the door panels.
Stock s-10 seats never looked so good.

Heres a good shot of the shifter.

Re: Ratted Dime

i'm going for a rat rod look. the dime will be all primer gray with some ol'school pin striping. The hood will be bear metal with a clear coat. The inside is what you see except the door panels will be done up with blue jeans and maybe the head liner too. the bed will get a solid alum. cover that sets flush with the top of the bed, that all so will be bear looking as well. Rims will be two toned red and black.

Re: Ratted Dime

well, unfortunately it looks like i have to sale my dime. i got prop. taxes due and also some house repairs to take care of. I'm trying to sale my house and move out of the woods. it will suck but if the house sales and all that then i can get another dime to play with after words. so i'm going to sale my dime for 1g.

thanks for the thought Brandt, but unless something happens soon i need the cash. I've been praying for something to happen soon and i came to the conclusion that it just a material object. I have/had big dreams for it but hay that's just life, you know.

Thought about that, but you know this is Arkansas. There's no market here.
