Re: Rad Bronco

Tried to remove one of my wheels the other day and found out that my hi lift was not enough anymore. So, i had to go pick up a 60". My buddies have dubbed it "the flag pole."

Re: Rad Bronco

I love it man! And I like the black chrome! I'm actually looking at picking up a 4x4 toy, something cheap and I've seen a few Bronco's I wouldn't mind having. I just want something that's a manual, 4x4, and good to go offroad with. And having a pop top would be icing on the cake!

Keep up the hard work and have fun, 4x4 toys are the best!

Re: Rad Bronco

Love this truck man, always wanted a Bronco. My neighbor has a Bronco and an old f100. Dropped 351W's in both of them. Those things are NASTY.

Re: Rad Bronco

Nice. Hate to beat a dead horse, but... How much did you end up getting it aligned for? If memory serves, that front axle is almost like the twin I beam that rangers and older F150s have... if that is the case, then I have to agree about the alignments being a royal PITA because the camber/caster ajustment is nothing more than an offset bushing... it's getting the bushing and the position correct that kicks your ass. $300 is just way outta the ballpark tho

Re: Rad Bronco

Looks good! Your thread made me get another truck for the time being, 82 Dodge W250. I was looking at Bronco's, but this was in my price range and had a manual transmission.

Re: Rad Bronco

With the serious rain and flooding i was unable to put the bumper on and get my sliders built due to the wedding coming first. So heres some pictures in the mean time.

The day of the wedding picking up my old mans suit. Crazy seeing so many Broncos in 1 place. Black=stock. mine=6". White=4"

82 W250, 318 NP435 NP208 on Dana 44/60 8 lugs. I put some 36" military oz's on it. It had 35's when I picked it up, but one was bad and the rest were questionable.

Even I can get stuck.

I plan to take it to the beach on Saturday.

Re: Rad Bronco

You are way lucky that B isn't all rotted to death. Upstate NY... no more Bronco. SALT SUX...
I'm sure S10_2.8 will back me on that one...
Nice project, BTW... those moldings gone are the chit. Makes the rig look much cleaner...

Yes, totally agree with that. Salt is terrible for vehicles, and we have plenty of it. I went out this morning and noticed my rockers/ cab corners were laying on the ground...
