Re: [ProjecT] WhitE SheeP
yeah. the truck is deff a sunday driver. its so illegal. but at the same time, your Dime looks real clean with that drop. but like i said, adding the 3in shackle lift kit and just flipping them gives you some play. just my 2 cents. ha. good luck.

Re: [ProjecT] WhitE SheeP
tiny update:
Figured out why my truck ran like such crap... fvck accel anything, after talking to my uncles, they have had nothing but problems with their products, and as you can see, this rotor is all burned up with all of 10kmi on it ![]() but went on a small roadtrip with the g/f for our one year anniversary and snapped a few pics, so enjoy! ![]() ![]() and hit this while on the trip, so i figured id snap a pic ![]() hopefully more updates soon, just enjoying driving it now, got 24 mpg on the trip too after swapping out the cap and rotor for an acdelco piece |

Re: [ProjecT] WhitE SheeP
small update, ive been wanting a system for a while (stock speakers and no subs suck!), it came with a 12 disc changer, which i used 90% of the time, but the deck's cd player didnt work (cd stuck in it), soo i got a $200 kenwood shallow mount 12 for 50 on clearance, and picked up a nice kenwood deck that goes well with the blue theme in my truck (old deck was green)
So ive been slowly(as with everything else this semester in school) building a box to fit where one seat goes, because I cannot afford to lose the space behind the seat because I put my backpack/surveying clothes, biking stuff, etc back there and occasionally carry a spare person back there, but this has taken a lot of time to fit like this, and they fit nicely together, they are just stuck in there for the time being ![]() I will get an alpine amp when money allows, but this box will take a lil bit to finish anyways, because I just want it to come out good let me hear your opinions |

So where did you get the gauges with different needles? I know you can change the lights in the back but how bout the needles? How much did it cost you?

Re: [ProjecT] WhitE SheeP
^ I think he just scraped the orange off the old needles. I may be incorrect though.
Surveying eh? what are you in school for? I know what you mean about not losing the space, I always use the extended cab and to fill it up with a box and a system is just not something I want to do. It's a fine line to walk between great sound and small size. |

How did you get the guage pod open to sand the needles? I've heard that it is sealed and you can't get inside.

Re: [ProjecT] WhitE SheeP
once you take the guages out, the front just unclips, once you have it out youll see what i mean- the sticky has it in it also, just turn the truck on and clearly mark on a piece of paper where they go-after that, just a lil presure and it comes right off

Re: [ProjecT] WhitE SheeP
just scored a sweet deal today
I got a set of complete heads and an intake manifold for the whopping price of....nothing lol oh and it has 5 miles on it from the factory!!! Yes you heard me right- my friend goes to an autobody school and had a 4.3 that was sitting around from a zr2 that was donated to the school which was proceeded to be torn apart and the motor was left and was useless to them- SO...This starts a new mini project- the heads will be port and polished, painted up, get some new springs and roller rockers with a nice set of valve covers. Along with this will be a decent cam and new lifters and some underdrive pullies to top it off. then his teacher will throw it on the computer and give it a nice tune for the cam etc I want somewhere around 250rwhp and hopefully its possible, but theres acess to a dyno and i guess well see- idk if its an unreasonable number but its what im shooting for- should be fun nonetheless |

gracious, i like getting positive comments, it motivates me to do piddly shit lol
& jesslaney and all others who are confused about my other post, i used to have a pic of my truck in my one post but i went on photobucket and tried making myself a sig, and long story short, I used my original pic and when i edited the original, the site used the link to the pic i was making into my sig- so now my sig shows up instead of the original Last edited by Driveway Kustoms : 10-18-2009 at 11:50 PM. |

Re: [ProjecT] WhitE SheeP
I need help:
Im getting rims for christmas but have a problem. I'm getting some mb vintage wheels and for the rear im getting some 17x9.5 so no problem there. But for the front im running 17x8s for the front because i enjoy turning The thing is, is that they offer it in a 7mm bs and a 0mm bs and im not sure which ones to run. I have drop spindles so i want the set that will stick out slightly more because of fitment issues with the 17" rim and drop spindles. Thanks and heres links to the wheels (look very similar to he coys and the only reason im not going with them is because they ran out of 9.5s and aren't gonna make them) and a pic because everyone loves pics Fronts in question: 0mm backspace http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...8&vid=01 1666 7 mm backspace http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...8&vid=01 1666 And the Rears: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...5&vid= 011666 ![]() |
