So, since I can't drive my truck till May of 2006, (suspension)
I'm going to take this time and redo a few things!
I'm just getting started! and yes,, this is my garage!
You gotta do, what you gotta do.
I have removed my abs module completly and putting in a porportion valve from another dime. Putting my computer and my fust box in the cab and lenghthening and shortening the entire wireing harness (lots of work)
Removed my inner fender wells, overflow basin, windshild juice and moving battery back to the bed.
Sanding down the whole truck, cause some parts had three coats of paint, primer and sealer! whoa...... shaving the rain drip rails,, yeah!!! and I gotta fix some rust on the passenger ext cab,, boooooooo GM!!!
Getting new rear glass (already have it) cause I was dumb and didn't realize the grinder splash from putting in the rear notch!
Ah, easier to paint and shave the drip rails anyways..!
ooooo,, that's my new ECC roll pan,,
also, plugging up the blowthrough holes and I've already started the passenger side suicide door!
what a mess! oh well,, mess = progress?
Found some bondo in the driver box side from where a stupid drunk chick kicked it! guess the body guy wasn't to good with dolly and hammer! so now I gotta fix that!
My tailgate was a mess, the GM paint shop did a horrible job, you could still see the sand marks (from their scuffing) through the paint! When I shaved the handle and did the holes for the lights, it was baby ass smooth!!! fuggers.... so gotta redo that!
you can see here where I lowered the bumper cover 2 inches.
I did this about 2 years ago, I cut the cover on the front part of the bumper, lowered it 2 inches, rivetted it back on and fiberglass it all back smooth!
I'm going to keep this front end, and I'm doing a Trailblazer front end lights and grill swap!!!
Should look good!
I'll take more pics along the way!!!
every time I take a shower,, the water runs red!!!:dunno:
