Re: [Project] UP? or downż
oh and im doing a mod s10cyncrvr did a while back. replacing the rag joint with a flaming river u joint. i bought the u joint last night from summit and bought another steering shaft from s10warehouse. that away i can replace it back to factory incase i need to for any reason.
im also looking into replacing my master cylinder and removing the abs with a cpp master cylinder. NickZigaitis has done it and i sent him a PM with a few questions im waiting on a reply and some more moneys before buying the master cylinder. heres a pic of it.. looks sweet! and has all the stuff i need to remove abs already in it! ![]() |

Re: [Project] UP? or downż
I've never liked abs brake myself and have always opted to not have it on any of my vehicles. Unfortunately, the Blazer has it. But now since I see that this new CPP unit is only 200 bucks and has everything built into it, I might just go ahead and do this mod as well. It will be nice to have normal brakes again!

Re: [Project] UP? or downż
Oh I know. I could just get a couple of 2psi valves, a metering valve and a proportioning valve and do it that way, but I'd rather have an all-in-one unit which will be much neater, plus a whole new master cylinder (which my stock unit may be in question anyway).

Re: [Project] UP? or downż
I was really surprised how much better mine handled after I dropped it, most improved handling after a drop of any other truck I've owned.
I know he can't explain it in words, I meant that after he does the mod to tell me if it's worth doing. |
