Not lovin the black on pewter. Gunmetal maybe, or if you could somehow get just the spokes gunmetal and the rest chrome, then I could see that. But the black isn't workin for me.

Personally I don't think the chrome looks bling at all. They're such clean lookin wheels.

Dude Those are sic! A.R. ? or are those grey centered Billet Specialties? Still dont' think they work with the color of the truck though. No to black wheels. Chrome or silver, or (as Cast) for the color on Your Blazer.

Stick with chrome. I don't even like chrome and I think it looks great on your blazer.

Understandable on both counts.

Just keep doing stuff to it. The heck with a V8 swap. Just throw a supercharger kit on it, have a coke and a smile.

Why? That's just wasted money. If you want to upgrade, then get slotted rotors with good Hawk pads and upgrade the brake lines to braided SS ones. Then again, if you're not entering into races every weekend, then that's not even needed, just good Hawk pads.

nah i am not gonna spend a couple grand on a supercharger kit for a v6 when i can spend a couple more on top of that and have a v8.. and have it sound sick!

and as for the brakes, the stocks work just fine, the vette brakes would look SICK behind my bigger wheels. stock brakes look so wimpy.

you cant tell me this isnt sexy. plus it would be like 6-700 bux for the front.

A couple grand and an afternoon's work vs 5-6 grand, months of work and headaches, and a bunch of hacking to a fairly new vehicle? Nah, I'll stick with the SC kit.

Besides getting a few little things here and there painted, I'm doing most of my mods mainly for function, not looks. Take the 5/3 drop I'm about to do... It's more for safety than anything else. And when on the highway, hopefully better mpg as well. Other mods geared in the hopes of better mpg is all the Amsoil and sleeker mirrors, both of which should produce less drag. The nice thing about the drop and mirrors, they look good as well as function.

700 bucks just to do the front?!?! Sorry, but that's a shit-load of wasted money just in the sake of looking "sexy". Shit, for $700, I'd get my ECU reprogrammed, get the exhaust done and upgrade my MAF. That would be $700 well spent, improve performance and improve mpg.

Sorry Chris. I'm not trying to bash you, your ideas or anything. Not at all. I guess I'm just in one of those moods today.

BTW, those Vette brakes don't do anything for me.

Re: [Project] UP? or downż

yeah just depend on how you look at it. i dont drive this like a race car or anything, so everything ive done is cause i want the look of it. hell i only drive back and forth to work really. i like blowing money on stuff thats not necessary. i also still live at home so the only bills i have are a truck payment and insurance on it. i got a free phone through work so my bills only add up to 316.25 a month. so i have a good 1700 a month i can pretty much blow.

Oh really?!...

It's obvious you've never done any autocross races before. Ever heard of brake fade and ways to prevent it? Read about it, you might learn something.
