Re: [Project] UP? or downż

well not much is happening with this thing.

i made the front ride better. i notched out the spring pocket where the control arm hits it. i took it for a hardcore drove and its good up front. now the back is just pretty bad. i noticed when im turned full lock that my brake line is pulled kinda tight. so i bent out the bracket on the frame some to help. id like to get some braided lines for up front to replace them that are a little longer.

im gonna order the 2 1/4" valves and some fittings tomorrow to hook up the air shocks. im not gonna do a gauge cause i dont feel like running another air line and buying a gauge. but ill put a scharader valve on it so i can check it to kinda know where i like it.

wewt

so much room..

no pic of it notched out. i left camera inside and didnt feel like going to get it.

i think i need to trim alittle on the right side.. i can hear a lighttt rubbing when flooring it.

i wanna say its for the notch i made to clear the calipers. but i dont see anything welded there so im not totally sure and the air setup fits great down there. out of the way and doesnt take up interior room.

Re: [Project] UP? or downż

well instead of having a ghetto ass switch under the driver seat for my air shocks, i went n got a round rocker and put it in the dash. i didnt want it in the dash but the people that installed my alarm put my led in the dash where i didnt want it. i dont want to buy a new bezel or paint it, so i put the rocker there. its also easy to get to which is good.

before.(i tried putting a screw with masking tape in it thinking it would match better than it did

had to do some cutting for it to clear. no big deal, cant be seen from the front and the headlight switch thing is still held in by 3 screws. i never use it anyways since the headlights come on automatically.

finished product

and please excuse the dirty interior and exterior. its in major need of a wash. it will get one tomorrow.

Shit, if someone lit up in my truck, I'd be opening the door and throwing their ass out! Even back in the day when I smoked, not once did I ever smoke in my car, or house for that matter. That shit stinks and you can't get rid of the smell.

My bro bought "my" Blazer over 3 years ago, and whoever had it before was a smoker. To this day, you can still smell that shit in here. I hate it. Okay, rant done for now.

BTW Chris, I prefer the looks of your ride with the shocks aired up more. That's how I would like minie to sit.
