Re: Project TTTYPHOON
Got the floor stripped and cleaned. Painted on 2 coats of POR 15 ( Not rusty just using it to protect it from rusting) And then finished it off with 2 coats of a sound deadening rubberized type material from 3m. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And there you go hope to be finishing up the chassis here in the next couple weeks and then the bidy can go on the frame for good. Re: Project TTTYPHOON
That floor looks really good. Since the interior is stripped that much I would get some Dynomat or simular deadener and do things like the firewall and and roof.

Re: Project TTTYPHOON
Or some Quietcar. I hear that stuff works really well. I'd like to gut my interior and give it this royal treatment sometime too.

Re: Project TTTYPHOON
I don't think that does quite as well. If it did, there would be no dynamat.

Re: Project TTTYPHOON
Well the 3m stuff is on the firewall too. But not on the cieling, I was looking into hushmat but need to look into quitar since I have heard good things about that aswell. As for the floor I plan to run an insulation and sound pad since the motor and down pipe will be very warm.
So between the 3m, insulation and the carpet and jute i think it will be pretty good. Also I used this 3m stuff on the floor of my xtreme and it has made a world of difference but the dynamat or what have you is still better. Thanks for the comments should have a GOOD update here tomaarow or so one the pictures get uploaded and all. |

Re: Project TTTYPHOON
Okay I lied its today not yesterday. Anyway I will let the pictures do the talking.
![]() ![]() Rear done with crappy mock up wheels ![]() ![]() The sexy part. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And the last one to show you what Dustin AKA TubbD does best. ![]() He sits in the corner and looks pretty. ![]() Final arms should be here by Tuesday and then all we need to do is mount the front sway bar and run the brake and fuel lines. Oh and the fuel cell will hopefully be built this week. Thanks to Mike's good buddy Josh. Enjoy! |

Re: Project TTTYPHOON
Once the body is on this frame then it is off to paint, still need to finish the hood and doors.
And thanks for the good words. |
