Your build is so awesome that it makes me want to add more stuff to my build list to keep up with your fab work.

Thanks and the brackets and such are Mike (Acehaag) 's little project. He and his friend Charlie did a great job and it does take alot to figure out all the angles and stresses involved.

and thanks Cory

Also once the chassis is done the motor come in and then the real fun begins.

Re: Project TTTYPHOON

We got the rear end set in place for the final time. Had to shorten the lower link bars. But now the bars are fully welded, the upper mounts are in and welded up. We installed the gusset on the upper rear shock mount and check for clearence on the girdled diff cover to our bars and it clears.

Basically now we have a bunch of gussets to weld in and more welding and grinding to finish, as well as motor mounts and once the control arms are here we can finish the chassis and blow it apart for powdercoating.

Enough talking on with the pictures.

Re: Project TTTYPHOON

With the height of the shock bridge, are you going to have to raise the floor now? Looks good. I just sold my Typhoon yesterday.

Powdercoating it. I originally was going to por it since I have had good results but powdercoating has come down alot in price and one less thing for me to do.

building my own aluminum arms. The only kit availible for 4wd now seems to be the rpm kit and I just think they are over priced and not that nice of looking.

And we are using qa1's

Yeah I used a piece of a roof off an 85 blazer that was rotted beyond repair yet it did not have the rust since it had the wing.

And thanks for the compliments.
