Project: Topless Toy

Doing this one for a friend of mine. He wants it to be a permanent convertible, sandblasted and painted frame, suicide doors, new interior, body work and prime.
This one will be worked on slowly, but should be done early summer.

I am trying to get him to bag it, but it's not in the plans....yet.

This guy is like 35 now, he used to rock this thing from like 1989 to 1992' it was the shit back in it's day. Totally old school mini

looks like its got a blow-thru, shaved handles, and some kinda mod to the top of the door...? anything else worth seeing in its current state besides the rust? good luck with it man, keep this thing updated

yeah, he wants them back on. I'm trying to talk him out of it. I say he should bag and bodydrop it, but the funds arn't there.

The mod on top of the door was a removable top, but he wants it capped off with sheet metal, and made full time convertible.

whats really strange is.... the cab and every body panel on the thing look to be rusted out completely (that window channel is just plain scary) but yet the frame doesnt look to bad at all.

Either way i havent seen one of those radical tops kits in years! That was deffiently a cool old mini back in its hay day of the early 90's.

I pressure washed the cab, and removed the back cab wall. I love my new spot weld cutter, worked awesome.

I also got the bed off, but forgot pics. i'll post em later.
