jus flipped thru this thread...wow. that frame color looks really nice. that battery compartment is a good use of space. have u decided on a color yet and "unshaved" the body line on the bed? nice truck & nice house man

yes the bodyline has been unshaved on the bed.. and also the bed has been d'aid or however you say it so 80 grit.. i just got the rollpan welded on last night.. if i get a chance ill get some pics for you guys tonight of how the trucks lookin right now

well i went and got a few pics lol



Dont mind the tailgate, i had it on there for mockup purposes..


cab/door/fender are pretty aligned up..


and heres the other project for the time being, its a buddy of mine that moved away and let me work on it.. i think i might have posted a few pics before on here of me and him working in it.. its still a 4x4!!!

as of probly 15 min ago i finally finished plumbin the exhaust.. after many many trips to the exhaust shop for bends its done.. i just need the pipe welded since its all tached together.. but now motor can come out and be built up while truck gets paint!!!!



that crossover pipe will sit a few inches higher when done..


and for the muffler just gotta stick my turn down on the end.. and the muffler will also sit higher once the bracket is made to hold it..

no idea on color yet lol but my shop let me take the truck and cherry picker home today which means i got the motor out!! spent about 2 hours on it including making 2 trips to menards.. but acually went real smoothly.. even got the heads sittin back on the block again, but now the fun begins!!

finally got sides again in the front!! i missed that lol now i just need to spend 60 bucks so i can do the rear... but anyways thats done, got the rest of the bed sanded down, just need to fix the dents and whatnot and finish up the rollpan.. and as you guys can see the new tailgate and hood are on.. and tailgate handle relocator is on the way

alright i will be looking fowdard to seeing how its gonna work, how much boost r u goina run 5-7 i have a 3.4l in my first gen out of a 3d gen camero, build heads and .30 bottom end, 4.3l tb, its pretty quick but i have been wanting to turbo it,

i actually have a project thread on the 2.8L section on here thats all about the motor.. yes the boost im planning on running is 5-7.. my motor is a 3.1 outta a 91 camaro.. the bottem end has less then 12,000 miles on it.. and he sold it to me complete for 150 but i didnt use anything off it besides block and heads lol. but ya make sure to keep checking it out, it gets pretty deep
