Re: [Project] Slow Motion...
Yeah go to a truck show, you'll really want to bag one. I haven't been to one in a few years and then went to one 2 weeks ago.......well I'm going to bag the Blazer next year now. I realized how much I missed having a bagged truck.

Haha, from "this truck will never be bagged" to "the truck is getting bagged" in a month.
The truck looks great. It's come a long way in a short time. |

Re: [Project] Slow Motion...
take your time with this... do your research before you jump into it.
-Research, research, research (I might have spent a year reading on here about what I wanted to do, where to buy from, etc.) -Set out a plan and try to stick to it -Buy parts - maybe even buy a few things at a time until you eventually have everything. - Start the project or let a reputable shop do the work. Do you research on shops too if you are going to take it to one... or find some good friends to help you. That is what I did! Last edited by Kovz : 09-08-2008 at 04:04 PM. |

Re: [Project] Slow Motion...
Been there, I was at Slammin' and Jammin' cruising around at night back in 2002 with my then 4/6 dropped truck and a hot girl has me pull over to the side of the road then wants me to hit the switches, I told her I didn't have any, she just walked off. I was like MAN I could have probably hit that if I had switches. Had em next year, no girls cared then....bad timing! I did get my truck on the news two years in a roll though.

Re: [Project] Slow Motion...
eh, bad news...well to make a long story short. the truck wont be getting bagged until MAYBE next summer. Just gonna keep it as a daily and save up alot more for air ride and the interior. I wouldn't be able to do it because of school and money, thought about how much money is being spent on the truck in so little time it's crazy. Goin' to slow down alittle...haha
![]() Rough estimate: $1000 for truck $1300 for rims and wheels $500 for lowering kit $2500 for paint $500 for misc. ![]() ![]() "Slow Motion" should really be taking place, unlike before.... |

Re: [Project] Slow Motion...
, he only does a few a year though and the last one he did I had to wait about 18 months to get the truck in. He mostly does insurance jobs, but the quality of the work is worth well more than $1200 |
