Re: Project SINOMA
Where did they ship from? Mine came in the P-S-T front end rebuild kit. I'm not sure if they use their own or if they're manufactured by another company or what but so far so good. I hear good things about MOOG shiz too.

Re: Project SINOMA
Speedway sells Moog joints, and if you got the arms in a day, I'm sure you'd get a set of balljoints in the same amount of time. I need new uppers as well so I figure it would be a good idea to swap to the arms at the same time, and not have to deal with cutting out those stupid rivets...

Here's the link to the Moog joints: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedw...nts,38292.html
Also did you get the arms with the steel or aluminum cross shafts? |

Re: Project SINOMA
I like the idea of aluminum for weight savings, every little bit helps, but I question their durability on the street...CA roads are terrible.

Re: Project SINOMA
Preaching to the choir. If you saw some of the roads here you'd shit bricks I'm sure. lol But yeah, being that they don't have bushings in them I'd rather have steel on steel vs. aluminum on steel.

Re: Project SINOMA
yeah i got the steel cross shafts, a few more bucks but i am more comfortable driving with steel holding my wheels on than aluminum lol... and honestly they are light as shit so i wouldnt worry about the weight you would save from them... seriously im pretty sure ive had shits heavier than these arms lol
i like the price of those... but i want to check prices in town first |

Re: Project SINOMA
oh, and as a bonus i dont need the wheel spacers in front any more, the new arms dont have a lip that sticks out that far anymore, gonna get it aligned this week some time, just gotta find a place that will do it for a decent price.
now i need to post a pic of my dads dyna because i love it so much ![]() alright i lied, you get 2 pics

Re: Project SINOMA
his bagger had/has a weird knocking/ticking noise so we looked at that after we finished my arms, we decided to try shimming the rocker arms so they wouldnt have as much side to side play,
![]() you can kinda see the copper shim in this pic ![]() i think its a bit quieter, not perfect, but i dont think it was a waste of time, we machined the 2 spacers out of a brass drift, that lathe of his comes in damn handy some times lol ps: i know its off topic but its my damn thread so if you dont like it kindly suck it

Re: Project SINOMA
Man those ball joints look suspect! My camber also looks the same as you, but my alignment is also way off lol I need to finish shimming the ball joints on mine so the taper is in the correct spot so I can get it aligned though as well.

The ball joints are supposed to be bolted to the top of the Control arm...
I had some installed the way you did on my truck and the bolts kept backing out. |

im sorry you had that misfortune, it is actually common practice among the lifted 2wd scene to flip the ball joint to the bottom like i have, perhaps you did not have lock washers on your bolts?

I remember back in the day Fabtech sold balljoint spacers to help correct the balljoint angles when using lift coils, but I don't know if anything like that is still in production...

I think Fabtech dropped S10 parts entirely. Looks like you can get them from AIM
or it wouldn't be too hard to make a set yourself...

thanks dood!
and for the record i have AIM lift spindles lol, i still would prefer fabtech only for the slightly wider stance i would have gotten, but so far my spindles have given me zero problems, i honestly wouldnt recommend any other parts from aim tho lol and those are both good guesses sean lol |
