Re: Project Sic Transit Gloria

No Eric designed it to use all factory stuff. As a matter of fact when I swapped rearends on my last truck I ran the stock proportion valve on it too.

Re: Project Sic Transit Gloria

Alright guys so sick of this body work shit. Its been balls hawt here lately (i know no excuse) so havent been able to get much done. Heres pics of what we did get done...

Materials

Sandblasted the door jams and doors. Idk what the hell im doing to be honest but we figured it be best to go ahead and strip them because it looks like they just sprayed very heavy to cover it. Thats fine and dandy but idk if i wanna paint over that. Dads got shut down here in the next couple weeks along with me taking some extra time off we should be busting ass on this bitch soon.

What i dont know about sanding and painting, im learning. However i do know how to spend money. Got most of the interior stuff i was lacking sitting in a corner in my room. Heres some pictures of it all

Blah blah blah

Re: Project Sic Transit Gloria

Thanks guys, i got a lot of the billet stuff from billetspecialties, they have other window cranks and steering wheels. They're not too awful bad on price either. The steering wheel is my favorite part of the truck so far.

Very happy with it all at this time, just wishing it would move quicker. Its too damn hot lol

info on where you got the SEM from? and is it just call SEM dye? dash looks awsome would like to do mine like that but in silver just worried about spraying it since ive seen so many other peoples flake off and that would be a nightmare imo

Also the step pads are from billet and acrylic, tom will send them to ya for about 100 bones, great quality.

So i took a break from this truck guys it was becoming a pain in the ass. The daily needed some love so been working on it this week. Started last saturday and buttoned it all up thursday for the most part. O well some of you all might find it kinda neet.

Had to rebuild the ENTIRE front end lol

We even sandblasted all the shit and painted it lol

longbed ftl

my HORRIBLE attempt at pinstripping, ehh idc i did it myself. Once i get better itll get more and maybe a shop logo

Re: Project Sic Transit Gloria

Sorry guys had a lot going on the last couple months. Future mother in law was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, my daily needed work, and we had to finish a room in the basement so the truck took a backseat for a bit. But were back on it again now that everything has settled down a bit

Re: Project Sic Transit Gloria

No still isnt painted. Ive been busy, got transfered for my job and still trying to get into the routine. Everytime i get time off its too damn cold or too damn wet. Honestly ive been kind of burnt out on everything. Ill get it done, just so blah about it all. Sunday actually looks good to paint so well see where we get.

I havent really updated this because theres really no point since all ive been doing is sanding lol cant really tell in pictures... Once the doors are on and the jams are cut in ill snap some pics for everyong
