sweet! ya, it came down to the wraith or the rockstar. I liked the gunslinger, but I'd actually not seen the wraith or the rockstar lol. I like it better then my billet specialties I had honestly.

Looks like all my stuff will be back to me from capn steve-o by wednesday. I cant wait to see it. I'd spray the interior stuff this weekend, but I dont think I'll have access to the shop any of the 4 days. Ahhh well, I'll figure out something else to do.

ahhh, ya. I called them after about 2 months to make sure everything was going fine. They had just got the wheel from the polisher and were waiting on the horn button to send everything out. Still worth it tho lol

well I himmed and hawed about it, I went with the Coys afterall. I just couldnt get that style outta my head, and I just plain like them. I like bonspeed huntingtons just as much, and also the Billet Specialties Soft Lip wheels. But with working on a house, and wanting new wheels now rather then next winter, I'll sell my TT2's, and make the $$$ back that I paid for the coys just about. it's been a great debate, but they fit what I want for now. I figure I'll sell them next winter anyways. I like to many wheels..

And for anyone that asks, i have spoke to 2 different ppl at Coys, and they are very nice. No hassles at all, answered all my questions. Hopefully should be on the truck by mid Jan. I'm thinking of upping the rear tires from a 225/40 to a 245/45.

Re: Project: [relaxednoma]

Nice choice. Running a little bigger tire in the back gives it that hot rod look like I have.

Ya, thats what Im going for. When the magnetos came out, I was stuck on them for the longest time, which these remind me of. It actually came down to the Hot Rods and the Coys, and the price beat me out.

To be honest the look with your truck is what I wanted when I had my SS standard cab, so I'm trying to capture some of that look still.

It wasnt to terribly bad. However I wound up removing my airbag from the passenger side because I'm painting the cover. I removed the passenger side speaker and snaked a 6 inch extension with a deepwell 10mm and a 1/4 inch socket in there. To get to the drivers side, take the dash bezel off and you can get to from right there.

Good choice on the wheels! Did you go with 18"s all the way around, or 20"s?

i'm not sure if they make them or not, i just know that coy copies the wheels. I did call intro a few months back to get some intro center caps but they discontinued them right after i bought the rims from coys. They said coys bought all their stock of rodder 5's a few years back.
