Project: [relaxednoma]

well, I figure why not make a project thread to update from time to time with stuff I'm doing to the sonoma, I usually just do something, post pics in the members rides section and thats it, but whats the fun?

Anyway. This winter is getting ready for the '08 season, going to be bringing back out @ cavalcade of customs in Cincy in march '08.

So the list is as follows:

Interior:
-Chrome Vents (Steve)
-Chrome Handle on glovebox (Steve)
-Paint dash bezel, door cups, power window unit, glovebox cover, airbag plate cover. (me - have all pieces glovebox cover and bezel are smoothed and ready for paint)
-Stripe glovebox cover / airbag cover in orange/black combo to match striping on flames on nitrous bottle / exterior (local guy)
-Billet grab bar (Kaik - ordered 11/27)
-Billet dash speaker grills (Kaik)
-Billet door speaker grills (Kaik)
-3 pillar pod (have it)
-3 KP Air Gauges (ordered 11/27)

Exterior
-Stripe flames to match nitrous bottle (black/orange)
-18x7 in front and 18x9.5 Coy C-57's (chrome)
-buff buff buff

here's the truck as it sits now, this was taken before loading to go to slamology '07 (didnt drive it because the trans was still acting retarded, fixed that now)

this was taken before going upstairs for Cavalcade '07

Yanking out the interior stuff thursday to send out to chrome on friday or saturday.

Scott i got a killer deal on 18/20 Combo Bonspeeds that would be killer on ur truck.

Also stay away from Coys. There having major problem with there wheels, cracking. Run Run away.

lol, I think I know who your talkin about. I dont know if I would be able to swing the $$ factor tho. I'd have to sell the TT2's, and the guy that wants them down here doesnt have the $$ right now. I told jd to go ahead and sell them, he gave me 1st crack at them.

lol crap, I yanked 2 full sets from the yard. Although I'm sure we got enough people around here with s-series I can dehump them and sell them. Actually, I'll do a set for myself while I'm at it. No biggy bro! I scored a floor shift console to! w00t!

oh ya, they def. are. I'd have gotten them already, but I dont know of anyone that has the $$ for the TT2's right now. If I have to pass, i have to pass. :|

truck looks good. what did you use to tint the tail lights? did you smoke them with spray or laminex?

thanks mang. I actually dusted it with some black paint and clear, took my time and did two shots of it.

I've had the TT2's on the truck and thats how everyone knows it, I think it's time for a change tho. and they are 17/18's. Although I could just get 20's for the rear hahaha
