that thing is so nice bro. so how are having the valves inside the cab working out for ya? i know you said you got silencers or mufflers on them right.. you'll also be loving it in the middle of those PA winters although a little air brake antifreeze in your take would have done the trick just fine.

I thought it would be kind of cool looking and different but I could have kept things much cleaner bed wise if i had just left it alone.

But thats the beauty of customization.. sure you could leave things the way the companies did it.. but if we all did that then everyone would have stock trucks and nothin to compare except what year and the color they chose lol

i installed those stone mufflers in the dumps and it quiets them, and the lifts a hell of alot. still plan on boxing them in kindof like a sub box.
they never froze in the winter. it was just more of them getting weatherbeaten, the brackets rusting, and just looking like shit with road grime on them.

Do you have any pics of it at full lift. I'd like to see how much lift it gets with the 22s and behind and under setup

No prob. Right now the truck is on Dom 2600's guess i should have added that. I think with SS-8's ill get alot more lift and def improve my ride in the rear. IMO the Dom's suck.

ya they're beefy. but they roll smooth. They're wicked fast too. Have them hooked up to an 20 gallon at 160 psi. Paddle controls so you can control them together or one at a time

Oh it hits. i lost a ton of turning radius with my 22's. So much i had to take the shocks off. Im gonna have to sink the shocks instead of running the brackets outside the frame.

thanks for the post bro. exactly what im gonna be doing. I kinda knew when i was putting everything together sunday that i was gonna have a problem. Ive already got wear marks on my frame from my wheels and turningso when the brackets were having to pretty much go right over those marks i was like "yea my wheels are going to smash these". But hell I need to try it out so i can get the proper feel for where everything will have to go afterwors..
Ive got plenty of pipe stocked in my shop so ill find one perfect for cutting up and sinking into my frame and get back to wrok this weekend.

re: Project: Please MTV... Gimp My Ride!

^^ HAHA thats whats up. 3-1 Gelsinger

So anyway Ive been thinking about making a change to my front end for some time and Im about to put my plans into action. Plan is to do a 94-97 T-rexx phantom grille and sealed beam headlights. Im pretty sure all I need to get to convert to the sealed beam is the headlight buckets. I'll do a little searching and im sure I can find a few threads or how-tos on it. If anyone has any information on this chime right in so I know what I need but like I said I'll be doing alot of searching on this.
Im going to keep the Envoy bumper on it even tho it has a small dip in the center for the factory grille placement. Guess we'll see how it looks when the time comes. If it really looks that off I'll buy a chrome 98+ front bumper and a stock lower valence but thats only if it looks like total ass.
Found this site anyone ever bought from them? They're having a July sale on parts over $150 and 15% so thats pretty cool seeing this thing is expensive as hell
