Yep only way to run air line.I'm runnin 3/4" I.D. gates. It's O.D. is just about a 1".Pain in the ass.
Only thing i would suggest is running rubber grommets where it goes into the bed from tank.I bought a couple that were just a little bit bigger than my line.Cut it in 1/2 an worked it around the line.An trim off what ever excess you have left.I used a 90 degree pick an a small flat head screwdriver. It takes a bit,but its a piece of mind |

are the lights oxidized or are they letting moisture in? They look a little cloudy in this pic.

re: Project: Please MTV... Gimp My Ride!
Those hoses look good! and i know they are nearly bulletproof. We have a machine here at work to make those lines. Expensive but worth it.
Ever thought about putting some snap in bushings in the bed floor though? I know it would take a LOT of rubbing to make a hole in those hoses, but would overall look a little cleaner with them, and wouldn't cost but maybe 5 bucks. Not exactlly sure what size hole you got there, but this site sells them cheap. http://order.waytekwire.com/productd...20DIA%201-3/8/ Also, a lot of stereo shops have these on hand too. |

re: Project: Please MTV... Gimp My Ride!
^^ ive got rubber gromets all ready for the 4 holes in the bed but ill tell you its a fight getting them over the pressed on fittings attached to the lines and keeping them straight. You may be on to something thanks for that!

re: Project: Please MTV... Gimp My Ride!
I hate rubber grommets, but they do serve a purpose in some spots.
But the best bet for you would be those snap in gromets. I run them in the floor of my truck for the airlines, and 1/0 stereo wires. Work perfect, my local stereo shop just usually gives them to me, as they cost like 2 pennies each lol. |

On that site, that was just a random site I found on those snap in grommets.
You can get them elsewhere, I'd try googling snap in grommet, or snap in bushings as some places call them. Maybe eBay, or partsexpress.com, or another audio related website. Lemme know if you have troubles ordering I can order them using my works tax id number |

Ya i checked with Waytek this morning and they are a wholesaler only so no go there. Ill find them no doubt. Looked on Egay and found perfect size but the seller had a lot sale of #100 or maybe ot was #300 going for $33 bucks. Dont really need that many but i guess i could always gauge my ears again and hold down a couple people people and do theirs too right

^^ this. lol
What size are you needing? This might sound stupid, but you can go to lowes, on the "hardware" isle, and they have those blue slide out drawers. They sell snap in desk grommets, which are pretty much the same, they just have a top part you can remove or install to hide/organize wires etc. You can just take the top part off, and use just the snap in part. And they are cheap, and sold individually. Id check that out if you have a Lowes store near you. |
