Re: [Project] Parts Waiter
i will NEVER get lambos. i think they are gayyyyyy.
i tired to rotate them on photobucket like i normally do, but they changed the site and couldnt figure it out lol. probally just order the same ones i have. most of the lugs i have are just normal ones. and i was thinkin 245/35's in front, and 275/35's in rear. sound good? or will the 275 look stretched compared to the 245s? i want to order them tomorrow. was thinkin about general exclaim uhp's. they seem to get good reviews. any opinions? |

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter
yes the tires were def. a good chunk of money. most i ever spent on tires... 300 for the pair of 255's and 630 for the pair of 285s so 930ish. ive always loved those tires and i hate seeing people that get clean ass 20's then opt for a cheap ass ebay brand tire that are ugly. bfg kdw nt's got the sexiest tread IMO

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter
thanks man. means alot! i like to think its pretty clean too, if i do say so myself. ive wanted those tires too, but i dont have that kind of money right now. ive been reading lots of reviews on tirerack and other sites, and it seems the ones im looking at are pretty good. rated #1 on tirerack, and my friend has them on his equinox too, and they ride pretty good. i like the price too. only downfall is tirerack has the 245s on backorder, which sucks because thats where we get them through the shop. |

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter
ill be at grounded next weekend, carlisle, southeast showdown, lowrollers, possibly itb, maybe blood drag, not sure. def the first 4 though.
and i was looking at general exclaim uhp's. but now you got me thinking about different sizes. possibly toyo proxy 4's. 245/35 and maybe a 295/30 since they dont make them in 275's. theyre about the same price, and the sidewall sizes match pretty close and all. $115 and $190 a piece. |

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter
damn that thing looks killer
295s are 11.6" wide riding low and hanging a turn, say a highway on ramp they will rub either the notches/bedside or both the bedside rounds up at the top which doesnt help any either being that eric drives the truck everyday and this is all he has he need to keep it somewhat practical and its a 4 cyl for god sake it has trouble getting out of its own way now..... lol so eric when is our 4 cyl show down going to happen??!! |

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter
dude, you would own me. it feels faster than it did before for some reason. maybe its the sweet intake yo. lol. it def sounds louder. wait til i get the change to get pulleys and a header, then we might be pretty close. these wheels are wayyyyy lighter too.
on the tires, ill just go with the original plan of the 275s like john recommended. hopefully it doesnt look stretched compared to the 245s. also remember that the fender flare has to screw into the bedside, so i cant trim too much. i think the bedside may have to be pulled out a little bit. the 295s would look killer though. and it sucks driving in the rain with no defroster. and i have a blinker problem. pass rear tail lamp works, but the blinker and brake light wont work. god i hope i didnt screw up wiring the fuse box. that would suck. thanks man. |
