[Project] Parts Waiter

well, lots will be changing on the truck, so its time to make a thread for me to whore.

heres what were starting with. 2000 xtreme, custom paint, 20's with a 2/3, custom paint, glassed/sanded/painted interior, blah blah blah...

and now the fun begins. . .
on to baggin! the setup, FOR NOW-
re-7s, no shocks yet
modded lcas with busted ball joints
mono leaf with sd 5 link lift bars, no shocks yet
smc 3/8's valves with ball valves for speed control
parker line
avs 9 rocker switch box
black viair gauges
5 gallon tank
bunch of random stuff thats not really important

and thats how it sits right now. front is on the fender wells, and the back is about a 1/2" off the frame. this is only a temp setup mind you.

and we are waiting on the 3 link from sd, which decided to show up 12 hours after we put it back together, edc from gauge/airlift, and wheels from raceline which should be here tomorrow.

also, the interior will be going through some changes. fresh paint to match, new carpet, clean up some wiring, custom vents, pretty much just do as i go.

let me know what ya think. good or bad.

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter

thanks guys. probally the most fun ive had with the truck yet, and it doesnt even lay out lol. the kit is staying for now. i want to plate the frame so i dont completely destroy it. the only way right now i see myself taking it off is with a bd, and thats a longgggg ways away.

and no rims yet. what a disappointment.

but i did get my vents. '07 pontiac eyeball vents with chrome trim rings. they should be fun to play with.

When I get my rear bagged I'm planing on doing the same thing with plating the frame. Only time kit will come off is if I destroy it to sh*t or BD it.

Anyways truck is looking sick I didn't know you had that dash, exactly what I have been wanting to do for so long... Love the new wheel choice

Good luck on the build man!!

thanks man. only logical/safe way to keep the kit off the ground all the time. drag blocks are cool and all, but i could see myself getting hung up on a pothole or something.

and i got the dash for christmas. my parents gave me money, and thats what i bought with it. its sick for sure, but i think i havent had the screen on since i put it in lol.

hopefully everything will turn out the way it want it.

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter

yeah, me too lol. washed it today for cruise night tomorrow and took new pics. idk why the drivers rear looks high, but it does tuck the rims some.

and the best two imo

would have got more but the camera died.

Re: [Project] Parts Waiter

Ok question about the front, I have SD cups, RE-7 bags, stock spindles looks like you lay lower than me in the front...

If I was to de-hump my lowers and pick up drop spindles I can lay that low?? I'm running a 245/35-20

Truck is looking sick, definatly subscribed, excited to see what happens to this truck with the help of John at GetBoard, I like the work I have seen so far wish I could drop my truck off but so far away...

Looking forward to seeing this thing through.
