Re: project: overtime dime

thanks guys im about to go give it a quick wash then ill finish up the other little things i painted the cab useing a differant paint gun but the paint came out of the same can really theres alot of orange peel and overspray on the cab from painting about 6 trailers in the shop since it was painted so hopefully a wet sand and cut polish will make it look a bit closer to box if not ill wait until winter when i pull the engine to clean up under the hood and send it to paint in spring some time and the powdercoat is gunmetal gray anyway i need to go get it ready then head over to my friends shop for there annual bikini car wash and show n shine it should be good theres a 58 liter keg and the bbq is going all day

Re: project: overtime dime

so i havent really done much besides drive it it still needs the shocks installed i havent touched the tailgate i'm having prolems with my hands i went to the dr and found out i have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands witch has put my truck on hold i might be finishing up the little stuff over the next few weeks then putting it up for sale as my wife is pregnant and the truck isnt family friendly so depending on how much i get i'll be getting a new project a 1928-31 ford tudor sedan or a early 50's chevy are the top 2 we will see what i find

Re: project: overtime dime

the truck is now listed on my local craigslist the last driveshaft blew up from rubbing on the floor when riding low so i got a smaller diamater one built i usually drive everywhere about a inch off the ground i did the triangle plate mod a couple of weeks ago so it fully lays now i have a new obx header waiting to be installed there's still a few things to finish up but it is drivable it could use a nicer paint job it looks fine from 15 feet tho i am going to start taking care of the little things this week pm me any questions ill be listing it in the classifieds on here in the next couple days

Re: project: overtime dime

ok so i sold the truck i don't think guy will be keeping it long tho he is 52 years old and about 6'3'' so its not really his style he was saying he's going to put a small block in it and something about spacers for the bags so it wont lay out anymore i have a feeling that if i drive past his house 2 years from now it will be exactly as i left it layed out in his driveway where his last project car sat untouched since 89

i am sad to see it go and if i have the chance to buy it back in the future i might but at this point in time i'm goin to start the next project i hope you guys like it i know it's not a s10 or even a chevy

it's a 1930 ford model a tudor sedan that was restored in the early 60's driven rarely into the early 70's the next owner drove it on the road once in 88 and parked it moving it around his property until he threw a gear out of the side of the transmission around 2010 and sold it to me on dec 2nd
