The stock floor cab is easy enough you can do that yourself no prob. I think the beams will come apart if you remove it all together and set it on a railroad tie like we was talking about.

No more on info on my truck i am still waiting to get paid my first check, and i start another rotation on the 6th so i wont have time to do nothing but maybe order some stuff... after that ill have just about enough for my suspension and get rdy for the cab i hop...

ight well im going outside right now to weld and mud my bed today and tonight. i have all day, so im going to try and get alot done! thnx for the sheetmetal help tuck! ill post some pics for ya of my sheetmetal walking beads abilities now. hahah

its alot different than what im used to

ok well i got the top down fairly close

now to start on this side

now i grinded down the side to a bevel kind of

tacked it all up

grinded it down to about where i want

a little bit of a curve

now all thats very rough, i think all this will be worth it in the end

lol i cant lay down filler very smooth on this thing. this is a very awkward spot, but still



now its starting to look like something



and i sprayed on some primer because i dont want it to rust. i going to start on these long sides inside the bed where i cut and raised it all up.

hey man i was reading up on ur thread and i see u want to do a dash swap there is this web site that does some pretty cool dash work www.friendlychopshop.com u should check them out for some ideas. keep up the good work looking good.

eric is way expensive he did a buddies of mine in RA and it cost him 5 grand for just dash,panels,paint and i think the seat covering on a regular cab truck. dont get me wrong eric is in the club and all but he is worth the money but is alot.

yeah, keefs.. i know him, i have been talkie to paulie at westside innovations about doing my stock floored cab. i was going to talk to keef about it also, but im going to see what all me and paulie can do

and as of right now idk if im going to be able to get the dash yet. i hope so but we will see

just started the other side

still gotta do some grinding.

but ths side was easier. i think its comin along nicely considering this is the first time ive tried doing anything like this on my own. (not welding, just sheetmetal and mini trucks)

Looks good, just make sure when u grind u stay on the weld. It sucks when u go threw the surrounding metal!

Yea i would hate for you to grind threw you have to make a patch panel to fix it...

I dunno depends on when it is, i gotta be at work when the military puts them soldiers out there... so far i am booked till the 18th...
