Sorry, but this is a problem a lot of people seem to have. people use credit cards way too much and buy things they dont have the money for. I dont believe in that. I always like to know if some emergency popped up and I needed the money there to take care of it, its there. Like what if something broke on my sierra? Diesel's aint cheap to fix, so I dont want to cut myself close with finances. It is just a truck, it isnt important enough to put myself in debt for it lol. Besides, its only going to be a few months I'll wait and then have the tailgate done. I'll take it back to John to do the tialgate one way or another once this show season is over and it gets cold out and im not gonna wanna drive this truck anyways.

yeah i know what your saying. that's why i don't have a credit card. only use my debit as credit. i don't like the idea of spending money i don't have. i was more or less saying that do the dump gate once you got some dough, since you already spent anything you already had on this lol.

Re: [Project] Living up to my username

wow thats nice, ive never seen his truck, or for that matter talked to him since the 5th grade, which we were in the same 5th grade class and that was the last I ever heard of him or talked to him until a year or so i heard mention of him again. crazy to think that in a class of 25 or so 5th graders that 2 turned out to be minitruckers

Re: [Project] Living up to my username

I like the dump gate idea... pretty original and would go well with the dump bed. You ever think about maybe getting a set of those dual hinges from a Caprice wagon so that in addition to being the dump gate you could open the whole gate out like a door and still have some sort of functionality?

he basically lost all his functionality when he decided to paint the bedfloor. its pretty much useless. not like you could throw a cooler or lawn chairs back there going to a show. why didnt you just do a full skin?

i suggested that earlier, he mentioned that it would clash with the xtreme kit in the rear.

how does it clash any worse than having a rollpan? When i had my kit i hated the way it looked when i had a rollpan. That was half the reason i ripped mine off. That and it kept draggin on the ground
