wow that looks real good primered, its so smooth! Do you have people that can help move the bed onto the trailer this afternoon? How the heck we going to do that if you said it weight a crap load with 2 people?

plan is to keep it on the dolly its on until it gets back from linex
figured linex would be happy they didnt have to move it.....
and i will be happy they wont drop it
we should be able to push it up on the trailer via the ramps

w/o the linex you've got 419 lbs right there, + the weight of the stock metal. So your probably really close to your 600 lb estimate.

If you want a quick way to determine what something weighs.. ( im sure ppl ask you alot ) the formula for finding the weight of steel sheets or plate is

L x W x T x .284

Aluminum is

L x W x T x .097

Bed looks really good man.

Bed is at Line X now, that doly of your saved the day John! was so much easier with that lol. Line x didnt even wanna take the bed off the trailer, they had me back the whole damn trailer into their spray booth and just leave it there on the bed while they spray it tomorrow, hey works for me

that was at my request. i want the bed to be strong, real strong. i like to always plan/think ahead. And if i ever decided to line-x the inside of the bed and put shit back there I know im going to have friends sit in the bed and whatever so i wanted it strong as ****. and even as just painted and still not putting anything back there, being painted any bit of waviness to the sheetmetal would be very noticeable. so ya, its was a functionality decision. all i knew was i didnt want 16 gauge, i asked for something stronger then 16 gauge and he got 12. The stronger the better IMO.
