nah, i gave up. decided to not add onto this project anymore. just want whats been undertaken to get done and back together. and ive also overspent BIG TIME on what I wanted to spend on this project. So I will leave that as something to tackle as my next project in a year maybe

Re: [Project] Living up to my username

nah ive been busy this week. monday was really sick, tuesday was wing night with my gf and friends from work, last night was IES meeting(illuminating engineering society...some professional society for electrical engineers and i got a free file mignon(sp?) steak woot!) and tonight im hanging out with people from my car club. tomorrow though eric is planning on coming over and welding the bracket for the compressor on. and i got my extra airline so i can finishj up those last 2 airlines, and i ordered a big rubber grommet to use for all my wires and airline coming into my cab. so maybe i can hit a switch by sunday night, but only maybe. I just know how to take a project and streeeeeeeeetch it out dont I? haha

its good that you keep people and friends before the truck but it seems like youve lost motivation on this project. I hope this is not the case.

Re: [Project] Living up to my username

no, not at all. I just want things done 100% right so im waiting on things like that grommet before i stick my wires through the hole in my floor, otherwise i could have been wired up now. most just drill a hole and stick the wires through and not use a grommet but i dont want to cut any corners. and finding a 2.5" grommet meant i had to order it online, should be here anyday though. I agree the cold of winter has slowed be down a little bit though. And when I need something welded Im handicapped cuz im at the mercy of eric's schedule.

looks good adam, but, is that a filter at the very top for the compressor? looks like it might touch the top of the bed when it is completely down

thanks, no it wont hit the bed cuz the bed has the crossmembers dont forget, so the bedfloor itself is like 2.5" above the actual frame.

Re: [Project] Living up to my username

got PSI?

(this is the tank PSI, havent wired up the switchbox yet or gotten ready to fill any of the airbags)

time to start checking for leaks and let it sit overnight and see if it drops anything over night. tomorrow ill try and get the wheels on the truck, tighten the bolts for the all the links on the 5 link, remove all the shit from under the truck, and hopefully hit the switches bitches!

just got home from a night out....its down to 110 PSI. so thats a 30 PSI loss in 8 or 9 hours I guess. not horrible...but needs to be addressed tomorrow. I have a feeling I know at least one of the spots its leaking. but should get a video for ya'll tomorrow...not going to be anything too exciting...but maybe at least the truck going up and down in the garage
