Re: [Project] Living up to my username
haha, robbing a bank would solve your financial problems...its just too bad they wont let you work on your truck when your in a jail cell! haha. Im glad this is helping you Steve, thats one of the reasons why i show so many pictures is because people get to see what they are getting theirselves into when they do theirs, thats how i learned.
I gotta call Eric and make sure he is still planning on coming back tonight, on Monday he said he would come back thursday night, ill give him a ring a lil later |

Re: [Project] Living up to my username
ughhhhh this sucks not being able to weld myself...ya ya ya i know ill learn someday and buy my own welder but not right now. So the only time eric and I can both do it now is Sunday. He hadnt gotten more gas as of today when i talked to him, and ya Sunday we are both free and can do it. Ive thought about starting the front but i really dont wanna tear that all apart yet, i wanna get the back done before i tackle the front, so im taking it easy and lazy this week i guess. So I did what Im good at...spending money. I just PMed Dave my order, so maybe ill see some stuff at the end of next week. I took advantage of the sales SD has going on for today and tomorrow big time!
![]() This sale is saving me over $110 i calculated! hell ya! The KP gauges do have 1/8" fittings on them right? they arent 1/4" are they? Last edited by xtucking22s : 07-05-2007 at 08:06 PM. |

Re: [Project] Living up to my username
nah, i researched em and they are just too inaccurate. With all the electronics in my truck i fear they will get a lot of interference, and regular gauges are easier to read when changing pressures fast. 2 digital digits are hard to follow when changing real fast where as a regular needle is a more natural movement like a clock and its easier to read when changing pressures fast. But also I just wasnt oo impressed with what i read...so I made the decision over 6 months ago to go analog and built my console, so the analog gauges are here to stay:
![]() im pretty surpised, ive had these gauges in the console since febuary and been to several shows and not once has someone said to me "why do u have air gauges and not have any air?" lol, i thought people were gonna get on my real bad, but nope, i guess people undestood it was for a future project |

Re: [Project] Living up to my username
Brutha that center console is the seeeexxxx, tell me an amp or amps are configured in there some where, also is there a sub....pppllleeaasseee telll me there is a sub. Know that im done polishing your balls...im going to do a center console myself, and would like to get some more ideas. Want to just put one 10 inch, maybe the amp, a screen and some gauges for the bags(when i get some) so's i can watch the tv, and hit switches. I know, why not some 12's, because im to old and my kids wont fit next to a big as box. The cab aint that big....

Re: [Project] Living up to my username
hahaa u guys are goofy. with the brakes...i have posted any and all of the pictures i have taken. i have not driven on the brakes by any means but i forsee no issues, i just had to account for caliper clearance when i was placing my C notch, i had to move it back like 1 or 1.25 inches or so off center to make sure the caliper wouldnt hit the notch. but the brakes should work just fine
here is the album where all the pics are located if u dont wanna skim through the thread: http://prestigiousinnovations.com/Ga...Baggin-Project |

Re: [Project] Living up to my username
allright, finally got more progress and things should pick back up again now that the welding is done for the rear. finished wedling the notches in, the shock bar, the rear lift bar axle tabs, and the bolts for the drag blocks(no pics, but welded in on the inside of the frame rail/channel so it makes it really easy to change out the drag blocks when they wear out

Re: [Project] Living up to my username
make sure you bolt the link bars into the axle tabs before you put the brakes on or you may not be able to get the bolts in between the brakes or the 5link mounts
