Re: [Project] Live-On

yeah i know he likes it. he didnt have the greatest luck with cars. i told him to buy an s10 bc they run forever. but he couldnt, he was like me with cams. couple v6s and 2 v8 ones. he used to joke with me and say i hope your truck blows up bc it has 205k and runs like a champ. then he would say you need to get a lt1 out of a cam to make it go fast.

Re: [Project] Live-On

Is your dad just going to put the same wheels back on or is he going to do more work to it? His would look good with a set of newer zq8's or some irocs.

Do you mean so you can get new zq8's or just new wheels in general? What are you looking at? And the truck is going to be all red again when it's finished right? Sorry I forgot.

time for bed pulling the motor after breakfast at 8
a buddy of mine, Damien, wanted a 6-speed LT1 as well and got a 94 in 95 or 96. We saw him one night at Taco Bell saying how much he loved the car and that he had a few beers hours ago and was ok. On the way home to drop off the GF he did 120+ around a corner (the speedo was broken at 134?), slipped off the road, hit a ditch ejecting them both out the T-tops. She slid a few hundred feet through the ditch almost unhurt except for cuts and scratches. He hit a tree backwards basically across the neck, killing him immediately. The car kept going 500 feet snapping tees and bushes before hitting the bottom side against a huge tree, turning the car into a "V" pushing the seats out the T-top holes, it was violent. When police showed up there the GF was telling about her baby so they thought a kid might have been in the car so a huge search went underway in the dead of the night to look for her. They found out later on that she was at home with her folks and was ok.

if you need the computer that sends the signal to override the LT1's anti-theft, let me know, I have one

nevermind, I guess you got the computer to override the anti-theft.

If you need any advice, let me know. Ive had my LT1 in mine for 5 years or so now. Id do a few small mods to yours as well as some more programming to help the mods. Stuff like killing the AIR intake, the TB bypass, and pulling the EGR

Re: [Project] Live-On

forklift, thanks for the comments and sorry hear about your friends. i bet it was hard, and sounds like a very bad accident. I mean that day that i told my friend that he needed to be careful, is like so clear in my head. he just got his tombstone and it fits very well. It has a picture of him wearing this certain out fit he wore time and time again, and a pic of his cam too. i tried taking a pic but i cant get away from this glare.

and do you have a build thread? and i am going to do some mods i would like to do as much as i can with the money i have.

and brandon i ll have to look at the can, i m thinking morton?
