Re: Project Lil' Squirt

I got some work done on my front end.

I moved my turn signals to behind my grille and I narrowed my holes to fit some fog lights

Now to find a black grille to cut up.

Re: Project Lil' Squirt

I'm did a little work to the truck over the winter. It kinda sucks not having a garage to work in so I have to wait for warm weather.

Went to my dads and stripped the block down. It is at the machine shop now getting bored out to .040.

But now the V8 is going to have to be put on hold. My wife and I have decided to start saving to buy a house. The good thing is I have enough little stuff to do to keep me busy for a while.

Sense I'm modding the front end i need turn signals you can see from the side. Here is what I'm solution...

I have amber LEDs that will be wired inside the mirror.

Re: Project Lil' Squirt

I hope so. I made these stick out just a bit so when I paint it (once I have a house) I can sand them off flush and clear over them so they will look like they were always there

Re: Project Lil' Squirt

So this project got put on hold for a while so we can buy a house. I did talk the wife into letting me get the motor I wanted. The one I had at my days ended up being a 305 so the pistons wouldn't work and I ran across this...

All I need for it is the harness.

I also got a great deal on the wheels I wanted 17" front 18" rears

Now it is back to saving for the house.

Re: Project Lil' Squirt

Thank you. I parted out the suburban for $1800 and turned around and bought a 99 4x4 for $2000. I was sad to see it go but it was starting to rust bad.
