Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Ya I can't believe the difference. I already kinda screwed up my dash on my other 4-door trying to pinstripe that. Not sure if I want to chance it on this. This would be a hell of a lot easier to do though so we'll see. Maybe I'll get bored and pull out the Process Blue sometime.

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
I'm not into the 4 doors too much(That is no diss what so ever by the way), but if I owned one I would be all about suiciding the rear doors. I would give you mad props if you did that.![]() |

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Trust me, I'd love to see it too. I've seen a lot of people say they're going to do it but it never happens. We discussed the option but decided against it. Too much on our plate as it is. Suiciding the rear door would take some major reconstruction on the c-pillars to hold the weight. Besides that, the area the hinges would be in would be getting dangerously close to the wheel tubs. Maybe someday. Not any time soon though.

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Those are the flush led turn signals.
![]() The headlights are tinted H4 conversion lamps. Eventually I'll have the turns tinted too. I've tried it twice but it didn't turn out how I wanted. Maybe by ITB if I get a chance. I should be getting exhaust on it this week. |

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Head on they're bright as HELL right now. Eventually they'll be tinted so they won't show up as much until they light up. They stick out now because it's just in black primer. Once it's painted and everything is clear coated they'll dissapear under the clear.
I'm redoing a lot of the electrical up front to get everything to work correctly. Once I do I'll take some new pics and maybe a short vid to show all the turn signals working. I spent this weekend rewiring the starter to get everything away from the headers and puting some new valve cover gaskets in to try to stop a leak I've been dealing with. Right now I'm concentrating on things like that, exhaust, and getting everything bolted down before ITB. |

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Here's the pic of my tails lit up. It's 2 12" led clusters on each side. The inners are all red. The outers are 8" of red, 4" of clear for reverse lights.

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Trucks going to Diamond Fabrication on Monday to get the exhaust made and the frame fully boxed in. I think I have my electrical problem solved. The alternator was shot. The POS 65 amp alt has been replaced by a 124 amp now.

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Thanks man. The flushie led tails have a lot of options to make some really cool tails and other lighting. People just need to start getting creative with them instead of just throwing them in the easiest spot and calling it good. Puting the tails in the factory location was a PAIN IN THE AZZ! Now that they're in I think it was worth it though.

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Thanks. Honestly I don't think you could get 3 in there. Keep in mind, the lenses that glue in from the back are 1" wide. We got my tails about as close to each other as they'll go. The lights are a royal pain to put in and take out. If they were shorter it might make things a little easier. I think Street Issue Customs (where I got them from) has 8" ones. They're all made by Custom Classic but SIC has the best prices I've found on them. I had to have them custom build the ones with the reverse lights and they wouldn't build them with less than 4" of clear. If you're planning on doing some work like this get a hold of Doug at SIC ahead of time so you can plan everything out and won't have any suprises.

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
I have a stock back seat in the truck again thanks to some help from Grinder and a sawzall.
I still have a few details to work out on getting it totally bolted down but it should be almost exactly like factory once it's done. Just won't fold down. I'll thrown up some pics in the next few days. |

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Eh, you'll see the real thing in a week or so at ITB anyways. We'll be rolling into Indy late Thursday night. Getting to the fairgrounds nice and early to get a good spot.

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Honestly right now you're kind of right. It's so disorganized I dont really like showing it much. Hopefully I'll be able to get it cleaned up a little better by ITB. This humidity is killing me now...

Nice man! I just read the whole thread, Got me wanting a first gen blazer now, and yeah it'll probably be a four door since I got a little one now. (they're cooler anyway! LOL). I'll have to add it to the list of unfinshed projects in my head!

Re: 4-Door Love project pics
Thanks man. I've been doing things trying to get it ready for ITB but none of it seems to go fast enough. Went to a friends place today and he noticed the valve covers are STILL leaking. Came home and threw some RTV silicone on it. Hopefully that'll take care of it.
