[Project] Finish the Blazer

well, im starting to do some work to the blazer i just bought from THRICE, so i guess it's time to make a project thread . most of the work will be on the interior, but some will be on the outside and suspension too. i'm gonna list my plans for this thing, but like all projects, i'm sure some things will change along the way.

Suspension:
tub firewall
new inner fenders
notch for tie-rods
new uca's
either an edc, or 2 viair 480's(2 450's on 10 gallons just isn't enough)
relocate some stuff under the hood

Exterior:
paint the rear window trim gloss black
shave the 3rd brake light
billet grille - DONE

Interior:
hook up the overhead console(the blazer didn't come with one from the factory)
power/heated seats out of a blazer covered in black tweed
mold a switchbox into the center console, and cover it in black tweed
shave the "oh shit" handle, and cover the dash in black tweed
smooth & mold the bezel(like paint toad's), painted body color
chrome glovebox handle
pretty much cover the whole interior in black tweed, or black suede

here are some pics of the blazer, if you haven't seen it already:

hell ya! was bad ass when he had it, can only get better.

Something I just noticed or didnt know you had considered, the line coming outta the tank to the cover, if you were to hardline it to to cover, and put a stainless connection there, to run the flexible stuff on the underside of that. Just an idear. diggin the billet! damn im glad this thing went to good hands!

that's a good idea. i've been trying to think of something different that i could do to the lines. i might try that.

i got it from work for free . it's the little rubber trim around the little window in the passenger side door on the newer model Freightliners. if you're ever around one alone, it pulls off very easy, but you need 2 of them plus another little peice

i prolly won't do the dash myself, but if i do, ill let you know. and don't worry, it will be there.

If you plan on parting ways with the existing bezel, let me know.

Have you got your tweed picked out for the interior? It's gonna look damn good. Especially the back plastic pieces.
