Werd....................when youmoved the cab mounts back, it wasn't too difficult was it? Since the mounts are round you don't really have to keep the pad at the angle it is in the front right?

Dunno havent done it yet.

Ive seen a relocated front body mount, but im thinkin i can move the rear on on the frame back 3/4, and the front one on the cab forward 3/4... make since?

Engines together.

One head

2 heads

Lifter

Lifter install

The plate that keeps the roller lifters strait.

Rods and some rockers.

Plate that holds the plates that hold the rockers strait.

It looks like an ENGINE!

Sorry I could not find my good camra. It was cell phone pics, or no pics.

well since it was a traditional when i got the floor and fire wall cut i just scooted the body back and left the floor where it was...but the only problem that i ran into was i had a difficult time with radiator clearence between the dropped frame horns and steering box because i scooted the body closer to all of that

Ahh Fair enough! did you have to bend the firewall and rear cab wall back at an angle very far? did it look ok, or was it pretty obvious. 3/4" seems like alot.

Right on, I was jsut asking, because that guy had some pretty good info in there.

I meant paint the block and stuff, the plastic intake may not take paint too well. but the block etc will.

The block is already painted black from the factory. its just a lil dirty right there in the front.

OK i gotta move my truck out of the shop where my "so called" friends was leting me work on it and use thier tools, because i helped build the frame i posted earlier in the thread. SOOOooo all day tomorrow i gota move all the peices to my dads house under the carport and work on it there. Means i have to buy a welder and crap also to finsh.

I would stay there but they started rushing me and crap the 2nd week there and started acting funny. The guy i helped build his fullsize frame that always talks to me has not said hardly said anything to me in the past week. i was there today and he didnt even say "whats up" or "good morning" or anything. No one that knows me would even look me in the face. Makes me feel really uncomfortable. I figured a few days ago it was just a bad day. but its continued and im not dealing with it... the last thing i need is them telling me that they are gonna keep my truck untill i pay them or some shit like that.

I swear, fukin haters man. I thought my friend would help me threw this. but instead hes just being a dick. sucks for me this just got exspensive.

i dont know shit about setting up this link system. all i know is the bars need to be close to the same length possible. top bars need a 40 degree angle and set pinon at right hight.

i figured make a test one with hardwood broom handles and watch to see if its gonna work before i dish out the money for link bars that will be the right length'

Edit: i hate welding with this flux cored shit... i need a bottle...
