I enjoy your posts!

Great project Chris. I really liked the first one, and wanted to smack your face for selling it!

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

Haha i smacked myself!

And seth, that sounds great but wont have all that! It will probably end up with ladder bars n coil overs all round. I just want a fun, fairly quick to mess around in take it to the strip sometimes.

And the coys will prolly be 12-13" wide. I havent figured that far into it

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

Well i went to kore3.com and printed out templates of the c5 and c6 calipers/rotor to check fitment. And it doesnt look like c6 brakes will even b close to fitting. Thats disapointing. Looks like ill just buy another pair of calipers, rotors etc and have the same brake setup on both trucks.

I was gonna do that with the truck i am stuck on right now, but was afraid of the ridicule I would suffer haha.

That's basically my plan for my F100. Race type chassis under an old body, with an old looking exterior.

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

my blazer will be going under the knife again here real soon. tired of people backing out of deals. so, i will become a poor minitrucker and get it done, get it done the way it was intended to be done. my next project with go for the pro touring styling.

this one is a good candidate, i will be watching now that i am on this forum again.

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

took some more stuff off the firewall, and took out pretty much all wiring from dash. i left some wires coming off the brake light switch, out of the column, off wiper motor. not sure what im gonna need/want to use to tie into the new harness. also took apart an extra door and took all the parts out of it in case i need anything.

wet stuff is coolant from heater core

mmm

back of truck and front of his car are the same, look how short his is

thanks. and yeah, ive been looking at pics of how people patch big areas of the floor that dont buy patch panels. i dont want it looking shitty. even though itll have carpet. we will see how it turns out. wonder how itd look to cut out both front floor boards, and have them all flat, or if my dad still has the bead roller, do that to help strengthen it and look better.
