Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

body mounts all welded up.. no pics as truck is on ground now.. tranny tunnel hacked out, motor sat in.. not positioned right yet. just stock in there to get a rough idea...

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

neither exhaust manifold fits.. driver side MIGHT when i raise it up some when mounted.. pass. side will if i cut more firewall. but i might just make a set of headers for it.

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

build the headers, dont do work to make shitty manifolds fit. even 1.5 inch shorties out perform those stock manifolds.

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

VERY nice Luv! I was a little dissapointed to see it layed out on bags after all the initial work you had put into it to be a static truck, but it's still gorgeous, definitely love the original paint on it, I don't like the trucks that intentionally look rigged and rusty, but an original paint job dropped onto a frame like that means you're going to use and enjoy this truck, which is the whole point.

Keep up the great work bro!

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

what ideas do you have floatin around for final assembly . like hidin wires and hoses and shit. it looks amazing but isnt there a bunch of wires and hises for a new fuel injected motor the luv and everything that you have made so far is clean and functional and ****in badass what you got in store to keep that clean feel goin, cause that i swhat im dredding most bout my build and your gonna have way more wires than me. you usin a pain lass harness for the body ya know lights and accesories ?

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV

it does.. but its takes me prolly 45 minutes to get the bed around to front of house, get cherry picker out, cut the floor out more, put straps on bed to lift it, finagle it all around getting it over frame, then drop it down and put cherry picker up.

or i can have my friend help me and be done in 15

haha....It was worth a try....The one I had was the new LS3 style. It would have worked but routing the hose would have been harder and not very aesthetically pleasing...Your build is going along nicely....
