Look at the crazy shit you do and say!! LOL Dude, you're a freakin' trip! Keep up the excellent work! BTW, just my opinion, but if I had that LUV, I'd shave the door mirrors and move them to the fenders! Last edited by BlazerChops : 06-14-2009 at 02:46 PM. |

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV
thanks man.. and about the mirrors, that one is staying as is till paint. then it will only have the rear view inside the truck. i hate side mirrors when the mirror isnt setup to go on like s10's etc how it actually has a spot made for it.and i got started on the dash.. im undecided on if i like it or not.. opinions? things i should change.. i plan on having 4 ac vents in it, 7 gauges, double din, ac controls, and a glove box ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV
and i sat and looked at the dash some more.. i like the way its going.. so i moved forward some. make a little template to see how itd look, and so i can cut some sheetmetal for the top ![]() this kinda finishes off the side, and gave me another mounting point. ![]() next, im gonna pull it out and weld it all up, then stick it back in and do some more work on it.. damn its ****ing hot out! |

i haven't started on my mighty max. I'm waiting on getting my new house, so i can go straight into the new garage with it and not have to move it from shop to shop. I'm sure i'll have a ton of pics when i start building it.

did a little work..
dropped down the mounting point for the brake pedal 2", then sectioned 2" out of the pedal. brake system will have a 6:1 ratio. ![]() ![]() |

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV
And all the bracketry minus the bell crank i made. The bellcrank is from a dodge van.. Eaisly made but my buddy had the van so i robbed all the brake setup off it. Then my dad had the heim joints already. |

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV
Yeah, bogarts..
I want something different. I want brushed wheels or weld racing mgnum golds.. I called rich at bogart wheels n he said they usually brush they before assembly. And since my dad wants them for his car we are trading tires n wheels n he is giving me cash.. He's still coming out way ahead for the deal we have. So I'm gonna rock the cheapo summit wheels for now till it's running so I can use the money to buy parts. Plus it's just in my way of doing things to be changing the wheels lulz |

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV
i think i'm going to run a 15/17 wheel combo for the mitsu. gotta call someone up on a 5.3 vortec too... I did some brainstorming with a friend and we pretty much figured i can get way more power for the money out of an LSx...
(sorry for the ramble... haha) anyway, i like the style with the rings, just not a real fan of the gold. wouldn't look bad on a black truck though i guess. |

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV
awesome! and i was thinking of a 15/17 combo too.. it would keep sidewall heights closer together.. still way up in the air on what to get next. and im a fan of the gold.. just not sure how much i like an all gold front wheel and the rear being gold/polished. and im pretty sure im not keeping the truck black.. not sure what color, just not really a fan of black. i am but then im not ![]() |

Re: [ProJecT] Feel the LUV
With all that steel square bar you're putting in the dash area, you better strap a supercharger on that LS motor, or that thing's going to be as slow as a stock LUV! LOL
