Re: Project Dymbagd
Finally did a tilt column for it. It solved my problems with the left blinker not turning off after a turn, no high beams, and me nearly breaking my leg (or pen in my pocket) every time I get in
I also finished the overhead lights. I now have 2 48 SMD LED setups in the overhead and a 16. The map lights have 7 SMD leds in each and the mirror has 2 more 16s, its like daylight in there! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Project Dymbagd
it took all of a few hours maybe
4 10mm hold the column to the firewall 5/8 nut holding the steering shaft in under the hood take out the underdash panel 2 15mm nuts holding the column to the dash unplug the hi/lo switch, the ignition harnesses, and the whole blinker, horn, hazards harness then reverse it back in, easy |

Re: Project Dymbagd
Dropped in a 530T to control the windows. Its nice being able to to just walk away, press arm, and the windows roll up and just do the one-touch up and down.
I also added some relays to the alarm so the domelight and reverse lights come on when I turn off the alarm and flash when its going off. Also added a relay to start adding sirens! Also hooked up the cables and switch for heat and defroster, havent had it in forever! |

Re: Project Dymbagd
not using, dripping. I ordered the whole engine gasket kit, $42 at Hi/Lo O'Reilly, even comes with valves seals so Im considering sort of a rebuild for it. Sucks about the price and I wish I knew awhile back. I got the pan gasket $10, the valves cover gaskets $23?, and the thottle body rebuild kit $45 and it looks like the $42 kit has it all plus the head gasket and tons of other stuff! grrrr

Re: Project Dymbagd
ok, I got some more painting to do and Im waiting on a EGR bypass from JEGs, but other than that shes close to cleaned up! I reloomed 90% of the wiring, cleaned and painted almost everything removable on the engine and did new gaskets all over the place. I also moved the main power wires down to the starter instead of off the alt and took the extra power wire off the firewall. I might paint the intake hat orange and the rest black and I want to move the battery. Gotta paint the alt as well and move the blower up somehow, add some fenderwells and loom the big power wires
