PROJECT: DragRat
So my last truck was a bagged 2002 s10 extra cab i sold to buy a jeep (2wd in mass sucks in the winter) and ever since i sold it Ive wanted another bagged truck. Ive always had a love for Rat Rods, the low budget simple but functional feel of them is awesome. So this truck will have a ratrod feel and attitude.
The Trucks a 93 S10 I picked for 400 bucks. Had front end damage, including pass fender, hood, grill, bumpber and rad. support. Found a whole front clip on craigs list for $200 bucks! Plans for truck: Bag it! just got the truck road worthy so details all depend on the money i wanna spend. but hers some of my ideas. Suspension: -Maybe an SD back half or just run of the mill bag over axle. -SD front cups / prob. re 7's -SD upper and lower controls -searching for a sanden edc now. -valves still undecided -5 or 8 gallons of air. Body paint and wheels: 14" steelies of some sort Dark blue metalic hot rodz flats color Roll pan or maybe keep the bumper. And i guess lots of little random rat rod style ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is my jeep ![]() |

Always been a fan of the first gens (first truck was an 88 S15), too bad it is harder to find them around here. Do you have any pics of your old truck, what part of Mass are you in. Let me know if you need any help with the bag parts we are located right in Foxboro.

Re: PROJECT: DragRat
Tom i believe he had a flat black ex cab on 18" boyds. I think that was him and it looks like all of the old pics have been deleted. First gen looks to be in real good shape esp for being up here. |
