Re: [project] crew cab extd cab
may i suggest looking into using the driveshaft out of a fullsize truck. since your shaft will be so long i would think a fullsize one would be alot better since not only are they long but pretty damn beefy.

Re: [project] crew cab extd cab
motor is running fine, had the distributer out a tooth, it ran but had a check engine light, but i got that all corrected now. everythgin under the hood is back together, and the front end is on.. ... next step is to get it inspected and insured... and then within the next month cut it up!
![]() grill looked like shit so this one will do for now.. i also have another bumper im gettin soon to replace that shitty one on there... as well as i need to buy a lower valance.. ![]() and i got bored so that old motor is scrap!! im saving the intake, heads, accessories and sensors and what not, the rest is scrap! lol ![]() |

Re: [project] crew cab extd cab
ok so new plan... instead of cutting the crew cab up, im going to cut the envoy and section in the rear of the entended cab... all i need is the rear crew cab doors..
why? well instead of havign to do alot of roof work, floor work, firewall unshaving from the crew cab, and what not, all i have to do is cut a small amount off of the blazer roof, and put a small rear amoutn of the extd cabs roof and a good amoutn of the rockers and splice that on to the envoy and just bolt up the rear crew cab doors... alot less work, only thing i need to deal with is i think the blazer roof and s10 roof have a slight difference, but i can make it work... plus as a bonus i can sell the crew cab and get some cash back... |
