Re: [Project] Clean Start
^^ what he said
there is no internals just the panel and those two buttons, i could put some press button switches in the back and hot glue them in ( for ease of replacement) or remove and fill all the holes sand them paint. |

Re: [Project] Clean Start
With the mirrors, since they aren't one lense but two, maybe you could cut down the excess poking out (towards the doors) epoxy them, filler, sand, and paint, make something that looks OEM, would be a pretty cool little project..

Re: [Project] Clean Start
^^ if i had 98+ mirrors and was towing something all the time I would. but for now they are in the garage until I need them .
spent 4 hrs changing Leaf spring bushings, between the bunk ass C clamp, smashing my finger with between the frame and 15lb sledge, almost setting my self on fire, and dicking my shoulder to hell, its done. Since i was changing them out, i put on my temporary 2" shackles, least untill i get stuff to make better ones. with everything including bolts they were under $20.

Re: [Project] Clean Start
Had nothing to do today, went to the shop ate work to sweep up my mess from yesterday, ended up helping my boss put a new hoist on his trailer. then came home and made this.
![]() ![]() ![]() Its just conduit, but it is plenty strong enough for 2 or 3 bikes, the bracket is 1/8" angle and some tube I found at the shop. going to slid a smaller piece of Conduit inside, and cover it in bed liner. all in all I have 15$ in it. |

I broke the front bar today, half asleep and drove the bike right into the mail shanty roof overhang, so i have to make a new one, no damage to the bike, just snapped the bar in two.

That's pretty cool. Did you make the mounts for the front fork or did you have a manufactured one? Some closups of the mount if you made it please.

I've been looking into buying 2 to mount in the bed of my truck, but haven't been able to justify $14 each for something I don't need.

The tube I used is about 8$ ad Truevalue, and the angle iron was free, only used 8" of the tube so that left about 28" left for what ever.

Re: [Project] Clean Start
got a new IAC connector, and just pulled the pins out of my old one, and put them int he new one, wrong order, fried my IAC valve. so I'm going to go back tomorrow and just grab a used one to hold me over for a couple months. also going to get the connector I forgot for the fans, and maybe a few other tidbits.

Its off of a 96 Concord, but I was informed that the newer ones fit better and dont have the larger motor on them, so I'm bringing this one back and getting one off of a newer modle.

Re: [Project] Clean Start
Well, went to the other yard today, was informed that if i wanted to return the fan i had to go to the other yard. so i put it back in the truck, and went to look for a 98+. found 1 out of the 10 or so cars there, it was wedged between the engine and core support, and one of the plastic ribs were broken. Soooo, i just used the one i have and got a plug for it.
![]() Also after being discouraged from not finding an AD244, i looked in one last Dime before leaving, and to my surprise. Jackpotalso any one need parts for their Securi car?

Re: [Project] Clean Start
and the circut that controls my IAC is dicked, so i have to get a new PCM. So its either run it the way it is, then swap out PCM when i get to a V8 swap, or spend the 120 on a new one.

Nope! It has au natural new car smell lol. But the dime I usually have black ice or black palm. My least favorite is vanilla. Makes me want to gag when people have vanilla air fresheners in their cars.

Well, supposed to go camping next weekend, was going to do a little light off-roading in that time. But since my camping space is about to be under the wall of flames from Colo Springs, guess I'm not going.
