Re: [Project] Clean Slate 88

after driving it and filling the tank with fuel,i have an idea of the next mods. sad thing is my 2.5 beater is faster than this truck, lol so i'm gonna work on getting it breathing better, new fuel filter, aftermarket air cleaner, dual exhaust, and the ultimate TBI mods

Re: [Project] Clean Slate 88

WOW! Coming alone nicely Tom. I guess I missed this thread along the way. I didn't realize you had started this before your snowy pole adventure. I remember you saying you were going to get clearcoat when it happened. Guess I thought you were going to spray a little on those old fenders. lol

Keep up the good work. Subscribed.

Re: [Project] Clean Slate 88

ok had some free time today before it starts raining,i pulled a couple of plugs to check them out. its running lean so i'll prolly do a tune-up and replace the 02 sensor,my reverse lights are burnt out,i put new head lights i had laying around in it,checked the parking brake operation, replaced the fuel filter, installed my edelbrock air cleaner, discovered my door key only works on the pass. side door(gotta fix that),and checkd all the fluids again.

Re: [Project] Clean Slate 88

well, when the seat was out i sprayed it all down with surface cleaner, scrubbed with a dish washing brush, then wiped it down and vacuumed the moisture out. it helped alot but theres still dirt in the cracks.
