[Project] Clean Slate 88

i'm gonna follow the build up of my newest truck, a 1988 GMC Sierra. right now its getting body work and paint with a few minor interior changes (headliner and seat). heres the pics of it awaiting more primer and sanding.
sorry about the green tint,we have mercury lights and for some reason they produce green light through cameras.

heres a photoshop of how its going to be painted, ignore the fact this truck is bagged its the only good side picture i could find.

i'm planning on going with a retro theme just need to find some baby moons big enough for it. 15's aren't big enough

Re: [Project] Clean Slate 88

i'm thinking a 4/4 just because i want to be able to drive it without bottoming out or anything and still look good

i really like the way this 454ss sits so i'll probably keep going down till i like it.

Do a 4/6, it looks good and isn't low enough to be a PITA on a daily.

Re: [Project] Clean Slate 88

I just noticed you said you were wanting to run a larger diameter steel wheel with baby moons. I would look at Stockton Wheel, they make larger sized steel wheels in vintage styles. I'm pretty sure they're reasonably priced.

http://www.stocktonwheel.com/smoothies_wheels.php

Looks like you can get their 'smoothie' in a 17x9, that'd probably be a good size for it.

Re: [Project] Clean Slate 88

good color choice if you have imperfections

I know those 88-98's have those faint lines over the fenders which are hard to get right. same as first gens

looking very good
