Project: Candy Coated

Well, after finally finishing up my front to clear my 20's a little more in my previous project thread, the time came to get my truck ready for paint and ready for at least part of the 2008 show season.

Here is a list of to-dos and things that are being done to get my truck finished:
- FULL repaint- PPG Orange Glow Candy Shot over a Cosmic Silver Base on exterior and HOK Sunset Pearl Orange on the interior of the truck and the interior of the bed.
- Full wood bed floor with spare 20" tire rack in bed
- 22" and 20" staggered KMC Novas
- All odds and ends that need to be polished, detailed and buffed, and whatever else comes as the project goes on.
- Last but not least.....FINISH IT!!!

Heres How the bed Sits now, still need to sand with 600 and its ready to spray

Center Console Done

and how its sitting now. We plan on spraying the cab on sunday, so for now its 600 sandpaper and water!

and heres what we are going to use in the bottom of the bed, its a real dark hardwood with a cherry finish.

In the 5th picture it looks like the tire is rubbing the firewall. Or is it my imagination?

thanks for the comments guys. Its the Y pipe. It hangs down low, but does clear a little more than stock. So its the main reason i didnt do the firewall. Once i get it all back together im gonna take it to custom exhaust shop to have them make it all dual exaust and eliminate the y- pipe.

yeah i'll pry end up tubbing the firewall. I have everything else to clear 20s. No progress on the bed yet, i need to sand it with 600 and prep it, for paint on thursday, and finish laying out the wood paneling and all of that... so maybe new progress by this weekend
